──THE CELEBRATIONS for alexandra's birthday were still going strong, each of the ten members of the group getting more and more intoxicated as the night went on.
they had to celebrate xandra's birthday in style of course.
dahlia was currently sat at the bar, taking a breather from dancing as well as getting herself another drink. it had just past one in the morning, it no longer being alexandra's birthday, but that didn't mean the celebrations would stop there.
"what's a pretty lady like you doing alone here?"
dahlia smiled to the bartender before drifting her eyes up to where the voice had come from. she sent a smile to the stranger who sat beside her, him ordering himself a drink from the bar.
"well? what are you doing here alone?" the man asked again once him and dahlia had been given their drinks. she gave him a smile before giving him a quick glance over. he didn't look much older than dahlia, the girl seeing he had a rare colour of green for eyes.
dahlia took a sip of her drink before turning her body to look at the man sat beside her- whom was already looking at her.
"oh i'm not alone- my friends are over there." dahlia responded, the girl seeing the boy nod as he took another sip of his drink, dahlia surprised that he was keeping the eye contact.
dahlia liked the energy given off this guy, until she felt a hand on her leg that is. not giving him any satisfaction, dahlia swatted the hand of her leg, crossing her legs immediately.
the man mumbled a sorry, him knowing that dahlia clearly did not want his hand on her leg.
"so if your friends are over- what's a pretty girl like you doing here at the bar?"
"oh- i, i just wanted a drink, and that i have it- i intend to drink it alone." dahlia commented, directing her eyes from the man, who chuckled slightly at dahlia. she hoped the man would leave as she was not in the mood to chat to anyone, and instead wanted to drink her alcoholic beverage alone.
"why would you want to drink it alone? someone single like you wouldn't want to be alone."
"she isn't single."
dahlia mouth grew agape at the sound of the familiar voice she grew to love once more, the feeling of a hand giving her shoulder a squeeze.
