Mia POV
It was 5pm and I am still at my office finishing some documents before I head home.
"Hey, Mia. Continue mo na lang bukas yan" my friend said, then she sits on the sofa that's inside my office
"Kaunti na lang to. Mga 30 minutes pa siguro. Hintayin mo na lang ako sa coffee shop sa baba" I said
"Fine. 30 minutes ha" she said and left, I continued my work and keep up.
"Done!" I said as I organized the folders and documents on my desk. I clean my things and get my bag, before I turn off the lights inside.
I saw few employees still on their desks
"Guys, you can go home na. Continue niyo na lang bukas" I said and smile at them
"Pakilinis na lang ung mga desk niyo, then baba kayo sa cafe, my treat" I said, they smiled
"Thank you, Ma'am"
I waited for them before we went at the cafe just downstairs, I let them use my card and buy drinks they want.
Then I saw my friend, Cali, she's sitting at the corner glaring at me, so I walked towards her.
"Ako, walang balak itreat?" she said, I chuckled and let her order too.
As we were walking at the parking lot, Cali move closer to me and whispers
"May chika ako" she said with a cheeky smile
"Ano naman yon?" I said
"Balita ko may girlfriend na ulit si Theo" she said, then I glanced at her and her eyebrows were bouncing, I chuckled
"May pake ako? Pakinahap nga" I said as I laugh, then she pinched me
"Gagi ka talaga. Limot agad" she said, I just chuckled at her
"Naging kami ba para magkaroon ako ng pake?" I said, then she pushed me slightly
"Okay, sabi ko nga" she said then laugh
We found the car, so I get the car keys. Btw, Cali works at building next to my office. So, we always go home together.
I was about to open the car door when Cali kept on touching my arms, so I looked at her, then she points at the car away from us
"Si Theo yun diba?" she said, and yes it was Theo with his girlfriend
"oh, normal lang naman na kasama niya girlfriend niya. Magkatrabaho din naman sila" I said then get inside the car, leaving Cali outside. Then I saw her run to the passenger seat
"Gaga, iniwan talaga ako dun?" she said as she puts on her seatbelt.
"Pano mo nalaman na katrabaho niya? Ibig sabihin alam mo pala" she said as she looks at me, I just smiled and starts the engine.
"Sinabi lang nila Terry" I said, Terry was friends with Theo and we live at the same subdivision.
"Kala ko si Theo mismo nagsabi eh" she said then chuckled, we left the premises
"Park muna tayo" she said, well we always go at the park after work, but not like this hour. It's almost 6pm
We arrived at the park, and there's few cars on the parking lot. But there's lots of people. We get off the car and walk towards the benched that's nearer to the sea.
"Oy, naalala ko lang. Bakit hindi mo hinayaan na ligawan ka ni Theo?" she asked, then I looked at her and smile as we sit on the benches
"Ayoko lang. Kasi ayoko sa taong gusto lang ako sa panandaliang panahon. Gusto ko ung tanong mahal ako, kasi mas magtatagal" I said and smile a little
