Prologue

Arianna stormed down the stairs quickly nearly running, walking silently into the Tristan's man cave adjacent to their kitchen.

"You know you not shit, right!" she stormed into the room finding him nearly asleep watching scouting films flinging his phone at him missing his head but still hitting hardly smacking him in the chest giving him a rude awakening.

"F*cking dirty ass dog! I guess I'm still delusional. I'm seeing things, Tristan! I'm imagining this hoe being laid up on my nigga's chest!" Arianna walked in front of Tristan standing over him jabbing her finger in the chest of Tristan as her anger rolled off of her in abundance. Her being 5'1 on a good day their height differences were even evident as he sat down but she was a woman on a mission.

All of the things they'd been through, she never thought Tristan would be dirty of enough to cut her this deep. This was a different kind of pain, the kind that cut deep right in her soul.

Their whole relationship had changed so much, she could feel them drifting apart but it wasn't much she could do about it when Tristan barely paid attention to her these days.

"I never thought I'd see the day that out of all people, the very things my mother said would happen would come true. You don't get it, huh? I give you everything but I guess I'm not f*cking enough!"

"Arianna baby-" Tristan started but was cut off.

"Don't baby me, Tristan. Go baby that b*tch you was laid up with. I can't deal with this, I just can't" she turned away from him wiping the ever falling tears away from her eyes but they continued to fall endlessly.

She took off and out of the room, running towards the stairs heading up to their room hearing him right behind her.

These days she cried so much the tears she shed were almost routine. She was tired and fed up of trying to hang onto a man who obviously wasn't trying to hang onto her.

All that could be heard inside of the large two story house was they sounds of their heavy and quick footsteps throughout the house.

"Arianna you have to let me explain!" Tristan begged and pleaded she they made it inside of their room grabbing her arm trying to reason with her.

He knew he didn't have any room to ask her to anything but he couldn't lose her. Arianna was his heart and losing her would be like losing a vital organ, he didn't know if he could go on without her and if he could he wouldn't be any good to anyone.

Yes he'd been stupid over the months, missing dates, going out to the club when he should've been at home with the woman he loved but he never really thought their relationship would ever get this bad.

And that was the problem

"There's nothing to explain. That picture explains it all unless you gonna to try to lie right to my face." She snatched out of his hold even him touching her right now was disgusting to her turning to look at his face while he hung his head.

"That's what I thought! Just leave me alone." she headed into they're walk-in closet grabbing and throwing together random pieces of clothes in her suitcase. She didn't even have the mindset to know where she was going, but she had to get out of here.

"Arianna, I'm not letting you leave this house. We're going to talk." Tristan tried again to gain her attention sliding her suitcase to the slide and closing it but once Arianna stopped and turned around her eyes finding his with only anger and rage he'd never seen on her beautiful face before he knew, it was over.

"You didn't want to talk when f*cking me over, no it was all fun and games then." She went to open and throw more clothes inside of her suitcase but he stepped in the way.

"Move out of my way!" she screamed.

"No"

"Move!"

"No"

Before Arianna could even think about what she was doing, she slapped him right across his face as hard as she could. She was running off of pure emotion right now.

"I hate you, I hate you. I hate you" she continued to throw hits at him as he struggled to restrain her. Once he got a hold on her he pinned her against the banter of their closet space while the tears continued to stream down her face.

For a moment everything stopped and seemed to move in slow motion as their chests collided and they stared into each other's eyes still seeing and finding the things that made me fall in love in the first place.

Arianna's heart softened as she gazed at him through her tears seeing the look of hurt, pain, and guilt in his eyes.

Tristan went to release one of her wrists going to cup her face seeing her trembling lips and knowing the pain he caused her was like getting stabbed violently hundred times right in his heart because she didn't deserve this.

He wasn't good enough for her anymore and that was his fault.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. I'm so damn sorry, I can't lose you Arianna. I just can't" he said to her so softly it was almost hard for her to hear resting his forehead against hers.

He was defeated and she hated it because even if she hated him and what he was doing to her, love didn't just fade away because you're angry or hurt. She wished it did because it would be so much easier to walk away from their situation if life worked that way.

Closing her eyes blinking away her tears, she cupped his cheek slowly pecking his lips before releasing him.

"I love you" she stared into his eyes "but I can't do this anymore, Tristan." She shook her head taking the engagement ring she adored and cherished off that'd been on her finger for two years now she wore religiously but all of that was going down the drain.

She pushed away forgetting all about her belongings and clothes because if she stopped now, she would lose her resolve and run right back to him.

Walking away as she felt his eyes staring her down as she walked away she placed the ring on the counter top space in the middle of what used to be their closet but now all his.

Once she reached the door, she turned back to see him with the look of a lost puppy, completely defeated, and hurt, tears welding up in his medium brown eyes.

Facing the door she focused on holding the sob caught in her throat she wanted to release but was too strong to let it out while still in his presence.

This is it, I'm leaving.
