Dragon Heart

Chapter 1: Wake up call

"Yo wake up dragon boy" my friend calls from downstairs. "Don't call me that" I yell back. "Ya what ev now get your butt down here." I sigh and slide out of bed, only Alexander know about my curse. I slip on my clothes and I slump down the stairs and see Alexander sitting in front of the TV. "Sup Drago, see this, its all over the news." "Good morning and welcome to the crazyNN news. Last night a fire of green flames burned down the white house of Northington and that means one thing only, the bastards with the dragon hearts are in town so be careful who yo...." I inhale deeply "I hate that news castor, Sahra Nee." Alexander looks at the remote impaled in the TV and back at me "righhht so breath deeply cause if you don't the curse happens." That snapped me back to reality "right thanks" I look at my chest which was now burning and revealed my chest which had an oval of green scales in the dead center of my chest. "Damn curse" I mutter. "So can you explain this whole 'curse' thing, its confusing." I sigh "how many times will I need to anyways this thing called Dragon heart makes a person half dragon and half human, a man with this curse has dragon scales and can control and summon fire and if gets really mad can have, well, you know and he can also breath fire." " Oh, say again I was distracted" Alexander says with eyes staring over my shoulder. My battle instincts take over. I twist around and summon green fire in my hand. "Hahaha, got you" laughs Alexander "man you need to learn how to chill a little more" I sigh, Alexander loves tricking me, "anyway let me change my shirt and let's head to school.

On the bus I meet up with my two best friends Annie and Marian "look who's finaly on time to catch the bus, its the two bros" smirks Annie  (Alexander isin't my bro but he lost his parents while they were sailing so me and Derek adopted him). "Ah well surprise we decided to run today" I smile weakly. "Idiots" Marian smiles.
