The Pain

It's been a month since Elizabeth has turned into a Baby, after two week she has grown one year thanks to Merlin's potion. "Look Meliodas I'm sorry, here is something that can help her get older faster" Merlin told him as he looked at her with a death stare. But Meliodas took it and gave it to Elizabeth which she didn't really like because it tasted bad. Elizabeth was able to grow one year in just two weeks which helped a big time.

Elizabeth was crawling on the first floor trying to get away from Ban that had a sippy cup in his hand, Ban knew he could catch her right away but he was enjoying her giggling which time he came close in catching her. After a few minutes, Meliodas appeared in front of Elizabeth and picked her up. "Daddy!" she called out happy as Meliodas smiled at her, Ban gave him the sippy cup, Meliodas nodded in a thank you and put the sippy cup close to her mouth as she latched on to it.

Meliodas watched Elizabeth as she slowly started to get heavy eyes, once it was done. He gave it to Ban to clean and went to their room to change her diaper, they were going to teach her how to wear pull ups and use the potty but she always crawled away, for now they were teaching her how to walk. She could stand up for a few minutes but she always ended up falling, Meliodas always catching her before she fell and hurt herself. Elizabeth had gone through everything with Meliodas, she wouldn't leave his side, but when they had to fight he had to take her to her father which she wasn't happy with.

She would scream and cry, she wouldn't stop until she lost her voice or got too tired. Meliodas never liked leaving her but he wanted to keep her face and that was the only way to do so. Elizabeth's room at the castle was blue with white as blue was her favorite color, Veronica and Margaret would always watch Elizabeth when they had to go fight bad people.

Meliodas brought her to their room and put her in the crib and put the covers over her, she slowly fell asleep looking at his emerald eyes. He smiled and walked around the room and started cleaning the room as it was messy with all her stuff. Meliodas was so tired but he didn't want to know because then she would start hating herself for taking the lollipop, once he was done. He looked at her sleeping peacefully and sighed, he walked to the bed and fell onto it, he quickly fell asleep after the day he had.

After a few hours the couple slowly woke up, Meliodas got up and put a safety mat as he was going to teach her how to start walking since a few days ago it didn't work. He slowly grabbed her and placed her sitting on her butt, "Elizabeth, it's time to learn how to walk," Meliodas said, causing Elizabeth to clap her hands. She slowly got up and wobbled to Meliodas without falling, Meliodas started clapping as he got up and moved father from her. Elizabeth started to become clingy as she started walking to Meliodas with grabby hands, he smiled at her, she was about to fall. He got ready to go grab her but she regained her balance and started running to Meliodas, she jumped into his arms as he spinned her around in the air, she started giggling, he smiled.

"Daddy, blueberries," Elizabeth screamed as Meliodas was trying to calm her down but it wasn't working. Meliodas let her down and grabbed her hand and started to walk down stairs to make the blueberries, he set her down at the table and went into the kitchen. He grabbed the blueberries that were in the fridge and grabbed a bowl, he put the blueberries into the bowl and started smashing them. Once he was done, he went to the table that Elizabeth was sitting down, waiting and sat down next to her. He took a spoon full and put it in her mouth, after a couple of seconds she spat it out of her mouth and started crying.

He looked at her not surprised then looked down at the bowl to see that it was already used with food he tried to make the other day ago, Elizabeth kept crying as every sin walked into the tavern to see a crying Elizabeth and Meliodas with a bowl of mashed blueberries in his hand, Hawk started to clean the mess as Ban took the bowl and threw it out and went to make a new one. Meliodas picked up Elizabeth and started to bounce her, after a couple of minutes she finally stopped crying. Ban already had a new bowl of her food as he gave it to Meliodas, he started to feed her.

Once she was done, she smiled and giggled. "Daddy's food bad," she said, pouting, "Ban food better," as she started clapping her hands. "I know, baby. I suck at cooking," Meliodas said kissing Elizabeth's head, she smiled and put her hand on his cheek. "Meliodas, next week is Elizabeth's 17th birthday," Gowther said, tilting his head. Everyone in the room froze as they stared at the one year old Elizabeth, Diane slowly walked up to Elizabeth and whispered something in her ear, Elizabeth giggled and put her hand on Diane's cheek. Diane looked at her in pain, Elizabeth was just a baby and in the next week she will be turning 17 years old. "Gowther, can you tell us what she is thinking," Meliodas asked as he turned to him.

Gowether nodded and flashed a light beam into Elizabeth's neck, he stayed still for a second before he started talking, "Elizabeth says "Meliodas, and the others. It's ok if I will not be in my actual body size for my 17th birthday, as long as I'm there with you guys to celebrate it with me." Everyone in the room including Elizabeth started crying, Meliodas pulled her closed to him as she buried her head into his neck. He smiled and stayed like that, not wanting to leave his lover.
