Red blinked and she shuddered a bit. Staring at the broken shecat caught Red in a daze, and she felt the world turn fuzzy from the blood that ran swiftly from her open wounds. She felt horrible for what she had done, she didn't know how to react. She was hesitant to return her sisters hard gaze, her stomach beginning to knot up. Pushing her nervousness deeper inside her, she looked up slowly at Talon to meet her piercing eyes, which burned like two blazing fireballs.

"I... I didn't expect this- I swear! I was just protecting you guys, that's all!" it came out childish, but it made sense since Red was still considered a kitten.
Her sister curled her lips back into a snarl, her crystal white teeth clenched together. Lowly did she speak, growling in her usual deep throat-knotting rumble, "You harmed an innocent cat, you insolent little piece of crowfood! Do you know who this is? This is my friend!" Red felt as if something had nailed her in the heart, and she took a step back, bewildered. "Your friend? Why didn't you tell me this Talon!" Red cried out, her grim tone begging for her sisters sympathy. She got nothing but a betrayed look from her sister, and something else there that she had never seen before. Hate. Her sister hated her, and that broke Reds world apart, tore her realm in two. Letting out a whimper, Red flattened her ears against her head, locking her legs so that her paws dug into the ground, letting off some pressure and stress she was keeping in. "Get out of here, Red. You've done enough destruction already, you are the youngest one here, you don't help out at all! I'm sure that next time it'll be me you attack and leave broken like this, not having the strength to even lift my tail tip. You're a useless runt, unhelpful in every way. Get out of my sight, you disgusting rodent!" Talon let out another one of her disgusted snarls that barely ever passed through her lips. The only time it had happened... Was... Red. Red was the first person to make her sister feel this much hate. Her own sister. What had she done? Backing away, Red looked crestfallen and had a look of shattered hope in her eyes. Not knowing anything else but to listen, she slowly turned around and walked away discouraged, with her head down and tail dragging in the grass.
