Hello, everyone hope you are doing well. I just wanted to a quick information drop to help you better understand the story, in something like a dictionary.
The story is based on the idea of celestial beings, mythological beings and inanimate objects that are brought life in my own prospective but in a novel like format of course.
The Aurum; specifically "Aurum" means Gold. The Aurum are the people of the Sun who worship the Golden Blooded = The Sun. While The Sterling are the people of the Moon. The Sterling meaning Silver. They worship the Silver Blooded = The Moon, instead of the Golden Blooded.
The Aurum and the Sterling are at opposing sides. As are The Golden and The Silver, so because of that so are their worshipers. Any contact with the opposing side is considered taboo and viable for religious treason except for in the Middle District.
In many religions people worship deities or powerful beings. The Golden and The Silver are something similar to that aspect except they are the descendants of celestial beings.
The term "Solaris" is the term used to address the ruler of all that shines in the white light and leader of the land of Aurum (The Sun).
The term "Lunaris" is used in the same way except the Lunaris is the ruler of all that shines in the dark light and the leader of the land of Sterling (The Moon).
The Middle District is a neutral area that is literally in between in the Aurum and the Sterling territories.
