Louis Tomlinson. Yes, that's it. The guy you would want to talk to so eagerly. The guy you would want to make smile. There are so many ways you could describe a single person, right? But, not with Louis. The six year old would not talk to you unless you gave him the vibe. He could see through your eyes if you would laugh just to make him happy. Strange, innit?
Some kids do have that instinct. Jay Tomlinson was a worried mother. Now, would'nt she be when her six year old would sneak out at 12 am, not fearing the thought of being grounded. She thought of asking him where would he be, but the boy was reluctant. He would just mutter a few words "It is wot it is, mum."
Maybe it was the effect of Troy leaving them that hit him, now the football enthusiast had to stay aloaf from everyone. The loudest one became the one who would speak only if you ask him to. Why do parents leave? Why can't they care enough were indeed heavy questions for his young mind, but he decided to step upon them and move forward.
He met Niall, the relatively outspoken spoilt kid. Who even starts throwing tantrums when they are denied to visit Nandos? Ugh, he thought he would never get along with the spoilt brat but somehow he just did. How he and Niall met is a funny story, which he would obviously want to retell if he was a bit older.
"Lou, baby come here." said Jay tired of Louis not wanting to talk to anyone. She was talking to a lady having ginger hair and a purse clutched to her hands. She greeted him and he smiled, confused as to why his mom would call him.
"Lou. This is Maura. She has a son named Niall of your age."
"Two years younger than him." Maura corrected.
Louis despised babies. He hated how they always had to ruin a moment and cry at the most unexpected times. Couldn't they keep shush anytime. He wondered and affirmated as he would never have been a cry baby.
While he was conversing with the thoughts in his head, Maura called out for Niall, a laugh escaped his lips as he saw Niall hanging across a tree upside down, as if he were a real monkey. Though we all were once. Before they could greet, Niall did a flip and lost his balance and fell.
"Oh No Niall!" was what escaped Lou's lips as Maura and Jay came to pick up a crying Niall. He had got a bit of a bruise but it wasn't huge. That baby was already puffy.
Niall stopped crying as his eyes caught the sight of MacDonald's fries grabbing it from his mum's hands. She scolded him for his antics and started to bid a goodbye to Jay and Louis as she had to wash and use the first aid for Niall's little bruise. He cared just a little.
While they were leaving, Niall grabbed Louis's hands and Louis turned around to face the blonde Irish boy. "Louis right? I will call you Lou. Your hands are really tender."
Louis flushed. No one really appreciated his tenderness, no one really cared enough to notice it. All they did was call him short baby.
"Faaanks mate." Louis replied. Maura and Niall left but for the first time, Louis thought he would get along with someone. Niall Horan proved him wrong, that he would never be able to make friends.
( Woooooshhhhh This is really so tough. I would edit a bit of grammar later if I find mistakes, so don't come at me. Also, I am writing two fics at the same time so the updates will be slower comparitively. I think. )
