From A different Perspective
Love Triangles. Simply put, they are an affection for a similar person shared between 2 people. The stereotypical love triangle is the "high-school triangle", in which either 2 boys chase after a girl, or 2 girls chase after a boy. However, the most common type of love triangle in america is also the most unknown. The divorced triangle is the most devastating, horrifying thing to come to existence. They tear lives apart, and ruin the will to live and love.
I can look all the way back to before I started school. I knew what a custodial parent was before I knew my address. I can always count on those memories of being so cold, and in my pink pajamas, waking from my dad's old gray Chevrolet to my mom's grey Toyota, dragging my pony blanket on the ground. I grew up in a court order. I can recite my court order, but I can't remember my essay is due Friday.
Let me paint a picture for you. Pick up the closest family picture you have. Now Cut it between your parents, but don't cut yourself. Now, you should have 3 people, not including any siblings. Throw your dad away. In the majority of divorced parent cases, the custodial parent is the mother. 43% of kids in America, will live without a father (due to divorce). Now cut your clothes to rags. Half of "divorced kids" live in a house with an income below the poverty line. Finally, keep a new-dad in place of your dad for about a week. After a week, throw away that dad too. A quarter of divorced kids will see 2 marriage breakups before they reach the age of 18.
I'm so scared I'll end up like my parents, I broke up with someone that made me so happy. I don't want to grow up, fall in love, get married, have kids, and fall out of love like my parents did so well. I don't want to be the cause of any kid feeling like I have my entire life.
