The blades clashed in the air, sending sparks out in all directions. Light Steve shoved forwards and knocked Rainbow Steve to the ground. He looked at his older brother. His legs were pitch black, along with most of his torso and his right arm. He had a large bright orange and yellow patch on his chest. The only rainbow he had on him was his head, bits of his arm, and his shoulders. Light couldn't say he wasn't the only one that changed. He himself was now only about two shades away from being pure white. "You need to stop only trying to block." Light said. "I know, but you attack so fast!" Rainbow complained. "Plus you're used to fighting with weapons. I've only ever used my Ghost Stick!" Its true. Light remembered long ago when the two of them went on adventures with Sabre and Lucas. Well Rainbow did. Light mostly waited around the Rainbow Town for something to happen. Such as Dark Steve coming back and blowing him up once. "You need to know to fight incase your powers get disabled. That seems to be a very common ability nowadays." Light reach out his hand and Rainbow reached for it. "Wrong hand." Light warned. Rainbow quickly pulled their darkness covered arm back. Because of how much light I now had, If I came into contact with darkness, the darkness would die. Since it was bonded to Rainbow, it wouldn't kill it, but it would burn, and Rainbow would feel it. Rainbow took his hand with his still rainbow hand and stood up. "Now again." Light said as he readied his sword. Rainbow swung his sword at Light, and he deflected it quickly, knocking it to the side, causing Rainbow to stumble. He recovered and swung again, this time at Light's legs. Light jumped up, but while in the air kicked at the swords hilt. The sword was sent flying through the air into a tree. Rainbow stumble again, but tripped on a stone and fell. He rolled to his back, and Light pointed his sword at his neck. "Good attempt." Light concluded. He took a few steps back as Rainbow got up. "Once more."

Light Steve readied his sword again. It was nearly dark. He had been training Rainbow since mid day non stop. Rainbow Steve stood a few blocks away, seemingly slightly struggling to stay standing. Part of him wanted to give him a break. But he remembered how hard The Creators had pushed him. The endless hours, days, weeks, of physical and metal training. That is what started his path. Back with Sabre, he couldn't do much with out becoming Ultra Steve. But now, he was the fourth strongest steve, right behind Death Steve, Collapse Steve, and God Steve. That training and also helped me become so much lighter, color wise and on my feet. I was almost pure white at this point. Rainbow had changed too. He had darkness from his chest down, with a large bright orange and yellow core in the center of his chest, spreading around like a blood vine. The parts of him that were still rainbow colored was his head, his shoulders and neck, and bits of his arms. "Attack again." I said and pointed my sword at him. He nodded, and then ran forwards, swinging the iron sword. I raised my own iron sword blocking the attack. With a flick of my wrist I knocked his sword out of his hand. But Rainbow had learned some things that day. He quickly drew out an iron axe and slashed it towards my chest. I side stepped and elbowed his still rainbow colored shoulder. He stumbled away, but didn't fall. He could tell he was tired, but didn't want to give in. He lunged again, this time swinging for my left arm. I brought out my own axe in my left hand and brought it down on the axe's hilt. Rainbow stumbled forwards, and I swung my sword, hitting him in the chest with the flat side of the iron weapon. Rainbow grunted and fell down onto his back. He just looked up into the sky, breathing deeply. "That's enough for today." Light said. He walked over and offered his hand. This time Rainbow reach for the right hand. He pulled him up and they walked over to their camp. Now its time for some mental training*.

Light sat staring at the fire. Rainbow sat across from him holding a block of ice to his arm. It was dark out, but with the moon and the stars being visible, it wasn't as dark as normal. Rainbow winced again as he moved the ice. Light had beaten him every time, but he was getting better. "I don't get it." Rainbow suddenly said. I looked up from the fire to him. "I'm your older brother." He continued. "So how are you so much stronger then me! We haven't even started using our powers in fights, juts swords! And I still haven't even hit you yet!" Those were fair thoughts to be having. I remembered when my training with The Creators made me feel like that. I couldn't even beat D.B., the scientist, in a fight. We'd train for over 12 hours a day, with no breaks. I would be in a lot of pain by the end. But the thing is was that I wasn't pushing Rainbow as hard as they pushed me. I was trying to help Rainbow survive in this new age of threats. The Creators were turning me into a Tier Two Creator. That was nearly 2 years ago. Now, I had surpassed The Creators, but I still dint know everything they know. But now, it was time for training that was even more important then learning how to fight and use power. "Why do you want to become stronger?" I asked. Rainbow seemed to be confused. "So I can actually do things." Rainbow replied. "It's been so long since I could beat someone. Trinity Steve, Death Steve, Collapse Steve, Creative Demon... they're all leagues ahead of me. I had to sit back and watch as you and the others fought them all." I thought about that for a moment. "So you want to become powerful to help yourself?" I asked. "No. I want to be able to help others, like you and your team." I nodded. That's the main reason I wanted my power. "Just don't get in your mind that power only leads to good." I finally said. "I have a target on my back because of my power, and who I am." I stood up and began to walk away. "Get some sleep." I said, and went to go find Bally.

I walked through the woods calling out for Bally. I'm aware that yelling in the woods can draw a lot of attention, but that wouldn't be why I was found. I was much brighter then all other Light Steves. I was nearly pure white. I also seemed to almost emit light. Suddenly I heard a rustling sound. I brought out my Balance Spear as I rotated and pointed it at the place of the sound. A bush a dozen blocks away. I readied myself for anything to come out and try to kill me. That's when Bally leaped out of the bush and ran over to me. She skidded to a halt on her four paws and stopped a few inches away from my legs. "Oh its just you." I said as I put away my spear. Bally looked up at me and she barked happily. I noticed she had a red feather stuck to her side. "What happened to you?" I asked. Bally just barked again and tilted her head, putting her front paw on my leg like she wanted something. "Oh that's right." I remembered. I pulled out the yellow wolf collar D.B. had made for Bally. It had all kinds of tech in it. That was D.B.'s thing. He was the Scientist of The Creators. Other then looking good, it did something pretty special. I leaned down and slipped the collar over her head and onto her neck. The tag dangling from the collar let off a sudden flash of light that lasted for less then a second. She shook her head for a moment, then looked back at me, her tail wagging. "Hi Light!" She said cheerfully. I don't fully remember the reasons me and D.B. had for wanting to allow Bally to talk. Well, that's not fully true. Bally was different. For starters, she didn't look like the other wolves they've seen. She had dark gray fur, with it getting darker the farther down her back it got. And she had a large black patch around her eye. But that part was me. When I had found her, she had been hurt badly. So I had given her Unknown Energy to save her. Ever since then, she's been a very special wolf. "Lets go back to camp." I said. "Ok!" she replied, and we began to head back.
