I had just made it to the airport with my dad from a cruel 4 hour drive. I was listening to my favorite song to my headphones looking out the window. I didn't realize my dad was trying to get my attention until I felt a stinging sensation in my cheek.
'ow!' I said taking out my headphones and looking at my dad who was in the drivers seat. 'I've been trying to get your attention for 5 minutes Amelia!' He shouted looking in the rear view mirror at me. 'Sorry I was listening to my music.' I apologized so I wouldn't get in trouble.
'Alright well c'mon we're here.' He said whilst getting out of the car. I got out of the car and got my stuff from the trunk and we boarded the plane. a/n - I'm not going to go in full detail with the plane ride - We got to our first class seats and I sat down with my blanket and my carry on bag. I tapped my dads shoulder and said 'wake me up when we're there' 'Alright sweetheart' he said back and looked down at his magazine. Thank the gods I had the window seat because I hated sitting in the middle. I put my head phones back in and turned on my playlist and went to sleep.

I was having an amazing dream when I felt someone shaking me. 'leave me alone!' I groaned. 'C'mon we're here.' I heard my dad say. I opened my eyes and we were on the ground safely. I grabbed my carry on bag and my blanket and went to go get a taxi with my dad until our cars showed up.
We got in the taxi and started to drive off. When we arrived at our house I was stunned at what I saw. We got our bags from the taxi and started walking down the drive way.

'Wow dad this is amazing!' I said while staring at the house. 'Yea. Now it's almost dark so we can admire later.' My dad said waving his hand and walking towards our new home.
My mom would be joining us later. She's on vacation with her friends. We walked in the house and I was even more stunned but I had to keep walking. 'C'mon I'll show you to your room.' My dad said walking up the staircase. It felt like we were walking for hours until he stopped at a door towards the back of the house. He opened the door and said Alright sweetie here you are.' He said motioning his hand to walk in. 'Alright thanks dad!' I said looking around my room.
I had nothing to do so I started unpacking and decorating my room listening to music. After u was done I was I love with my room.

When I was finally done with everything it was around 2AM so I decided to go to bed.
