The Good Boy Who Slithered In | Cedric Diggory x A Slytherin

Chapter 5.

Cedric sat there, standing up in the Great Hall when everyone stared at Alice strutting out. What the hell was that. He sat down, all eyes on him, slightly smirking. Pansy was tearing up and after the titter tatter of Alice's shoes where gone there was no sound. He ended up barraging his face in his arms to avoid the looks.

Chatter slowly started again, no one knew what to do about the silence. Harry didn't say anything, but just stared at him for a while, so did the rest of the table. Except for Draco, he was laughing hysterically.

Hermione sat at the Ravenclaw table with her usual face of judgment as she prepared for the speech she'd give Alice later.

When 9:00 a.m. came and the pupils were in their regular potions class seats, Alice was no where to be seen. Ron eagerly waited for her along with Cedric. The mood was off. At 9:02 quick footsteps where heard as she opened the door rather fast and made her way to sit by Ron.

"That who charade was unacceptable Easton, -50 points Slytherin." Snape announced. The Slytherins, including Cedric groaned.

"My bad." She responded, not look at Cedric once yet. Ron rolled his eyes.

Alice wasn't as confident as before, she knew Cedric was pissed, and even though she didn't mean it, was upset at her own actions. Her whole flirting game was officially over.

"What the bloody hell was that?" Ron viciously whispers to Alice.

"A decision made on a whim? What do you want me to say wrong I kissed him to piss off Pansy!" She responded, a little too loud.

Ron turned around to the elevated seat behind him, facing Cedric himself. Alice quickly follows, not realizing Diggory was behind her.

"I-" she tries.

"Forget it." Cedric responds, looking up and not making eye contact.

Shit. Am I one of those people?

Alice's porcelain face fell into her palms and remained in that same place for the remainder of the lecture.

Walking from potions, the corridors were buzzing as normal, and Alice and her care free spirit started to re-emerge.

"Are you out of your fucking mind?" Hermione says while pulling on the back of her head. She stood behind with Ginny to her left.

"It was pretty badass Hermione come on." Ginny mentioned.

"It was irresponsible and immature that's what!" Hermione replies.

"I think I agree with Ginny on that one." Alice adds.

"Can't you think how humiliated Cedric is?" Hermione scolds.

"I can't do anything about it now so... is that all?"

"You're so full of yourself." Hermione responds before letting out a laugh from Ginny tickling her.

"Let it go oh my GOD!" Ginny chuckles.

Alice goes in between the girls and puts her arms around them. "I'll apologize later, okay?"

"Good."

"Quidditch practice is going to be rather awkward don't you think?" Alice continues. The three all nod.

Before Alice could make her way up to him, Cedric found himself walking up to her whilst she was alone getting her gear on.

"Why the fuck." He angrily whispers before Alice cites him off.

"I'm sorry Cedric, it was a spur of the moment thing-"

"-Was that the most Slytherin shit I've ever seen." He finishes.

"Wait are you serious."

"Atta girl," He laughs and puts his arm around her shoulder and starts to walk, "Ahh, Pansy kind of deserved it don't you think?"

"Oh my god Ced I thought you were going to murder me." She lets out in relief. "Badass is my middle name so."

"What is up with the 'Ced' thing?" he grabs his chin.

"Okay Ceddy." She sarcastically remarked. He giggled.

"Now you've crossed the line." He stops walking as she continues.

"You're too much for me right now." She gets frustrated.

"I am!" He chuckled as she walks back to him as he puts his hand back around her. He puts his mouth near her ear, "you better do it again."

She pushes at his chest, "No, ladies went first, it's your turn."

He removes himself, "tomorrow." She gets major butterfly's.

"Dude where?" He starts to walk away.

"Uh courtyard, 10 o' clock." He smiles while turning around to go with his buddies.
