The Demon Within [A TMNT Fan-fiction]

Chapter 3

"You Jikizuarimoto shinobi disgust me. You're lucky I'm under orders not to kill your pathetic ass," this new voice spat.

"What? Who the hell are you, you jerk!" I spit back.

"I suppose because we will be working together until I have caught my prey, I can tell you. My name is Kasai Burēzu."

"'Kasai'?"

"You heard me. Now mind explaining why you hit Saki's kid?"

"Tch. As if it's your business." That was a very bad idea. Rule of life #1 never talk back to Kasai. It'll totally jeopardize your health. I come to this realization as he pulls a bone from his body and slams me up against the wall, with the bone shank at my throat.

"Actually, you little shit, it is. I'm on orders to keep this pathetic clan in shape while Saki's away. It's one of my two duties. Now, I'll ask you once more, explain yourself," Kasai ordered more than asked as he inched his shank towards my throat slightly.

"...we were sparring. She had one of her artificial ninja shoot me!" I said, then he let go and told me to show him my wound.

"Hm.... dishonorable; however, it only goes to show how overconfident you are. You should have been able to dodge that bullet easily. We are blood wolves, after all. I think that's why you chose Lee, isn't it?" I nod.

"So, the Burēzu... is that clan who possesses the Tenseigan kekkeigenkai?"

"Yes. You want to know a little history behind your clan?" he asks. Did he really just ask that? Does he think I'm stupid? I bet he's gonna state common knowledge, but I nod to signal for him to go ahead, knowing if I decline he'd knock me away. 

"Your clan, the Jikizuarimoto, is not original. It was based off of my own clan during the second great ninja war. You know the Sage of Six Paths myth, don't ya?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

"Well, do you know about his mother, Kaguya Otsukushi?"

"Well, no, but what does she have to do with my clan's history?"

"It has been said that she was the being who created humans with chakra infused within them. Prior to this, she ate the forbidden fruit and acquired tremendous power. Subsequently, she was given the alias "Rabbit Goddess". In this story, it is believed that she was the one who gave the clans' their kekkeigenkai. That is partly true; however, it was my clan who created her clan, and then she went on to create the others. It was mmostly do to human experimentation. Anyway, it was thanks to her that a few of the clans, such as the Sarutobi and Shimura, were able to grow so much stronger. Eventually the first great ninja war broke out and the Shizuki clan got a hold of some of my dna, which resulted in your clan's birth." I was mind blown.

"No way," I say.

"Yes," he responded.

"That can't be true...."

"Deal with it," he said before vanishing. And, with that, I went to corner and began to think. No way! The Jikizuarimoto is the strongest clan!! How could we be mere relflections of that damned Burēzu!!? I thought, as my eyes began turning red. "FUCK!!"I shout. Mizuki and Fang show up behind me to find out what's wrong.

"Whoa, Blood, what happened..?" Mizuki asked.

"Yeah man... tell us," Fang pleaded, so I told them

"Holy shit," Mizuki finally said.

"Tch, we'll have to teach this Kasai a lesson," Fang replied.

"As if we could.... this guy, he's on par with Father," I argued. They both stared at me in shocked and disbelief. I couldn't quite believe it myself, but not even father is fast enough to counter Lee, is he? Nah, no human from this sector can move that fast. I told myself and shook it off. But then I remembered something that put the thought back in my head, it was a few months ago when I was out patrol and I saw the four reptiles (this was before my encounter with them) fighting a bunch of robots. They dodged the lasers like they were nothing, and aren't lasers really hot beams of light, meaning they move at light speed? I couldn't really get my gears working because at the moment of the realization, Kasai had called all three of us out on patrol.
