Chapter 6 ~ Proposal & Wedding

Today was my three year anniversary with Louis and he was taking me back to Doncaster to spend the day with his family. I got dressed in the beautiful dress Lou had bought me and did my make-up and curled my hair. I was just putting on my heels when Louis yelled at me

"Hurry up love or we are going to be late"
"I'm coming Lou, I'm coming."
"Finally let's go. Wow you look better in that dress then I remember"
"Awe thanks Lou"

I took Louis' hand as we walked outside to his car. I got in the passenger's side and he put the car into gear. He started driving and I had my head down the whole time so he knew something was wrong.

"Hey babe are you alright"
"Yeah"
"Come on what's wrong"
"It's just that what if your family doesn't like me, I mean I have no family to introduce them to"
"Babe it's alright, my family will love you. Promise"
"I hope your right Lou"

We finally got to Doncaster hours later and Louis pulled into a driveway of a very large house. We got out and Louis took my hand again as he knocked on the front door

"Louis your here"
"Hey mom"
"And you must me Y/N, Louis always talks about you"
"Awe Lou! It is a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Tomlinson"
"Please sweetie call me Jay"
"So where are my beautiful sisters"
"Louis" I heard four girls scream
"Hey girls, this is my girlfriend Y/N. Y/N these are my sister Charlotte, Felicitie, Daisy, and Phoebe"
"Hi Louis has told me so much about you and you girls are even prettier than Louis mentioned"
"I like her Louis, don't let her go" Charlotte said smiling
"Awe thanks Charlotte"
"Dinner time everyone" Jay called"
"Come on let's go take our seats love"

Louis took my hand in his and we went into the dining room and took our seats. I sat beside Louis, and on the other side of me was Charlotte and on the other side of Louis was Felicitie. We had just finished the prayer when Louis jumped up and got everyone's attention.

"Everyone can I have your attention please. Thank you, now Mom, Dad, Mark, Sister as you know today is my three year anniversary with Y/N. But it is also more special than that because I would like to ask her something. Y/N can you stand up please"
"Sure Lou what's going on?" Suddenly he got on one knee
"Y/N you are the love of my life, and I love you dearly. You mean everything to me and I couldn't imagine my life without you now. You are my girlfriend but I want you to be more than that, I want you to be my wife. Y/N Y/MN Y/LN will you marry me?"
I had tears in my eyes and I was speechless so I just shook my head yes

Louis placed the red diamond ring on my finger and sweetly kissed me.

"Congrats you two" Jay said
"Thanks Mom"

We all ate dinner and soon it was time for Lou and I to go home. 

"Goodbye Mom, bye Lottie, Fizzy, Phoebe, Daisy, Dad, Mark"
"Bye hun love you"
"Love you too"
"Bye Y/N name"
"Bye you guys"

Louis and I finished up with our goodbye's and left for home. When we got home the first thing I did was text everyone to come over to our place. Everyone arrived quickly and Lou and I sat them down in the living room

"So guys what's your surprise?"
"Well" I said and then Lou and I looked at eachother "WERE ENGAGED!" Lou and I screamed together
"Oh wow I am so happy for you Y/N" Niall said giving me one of his famous Horan Hugs
"Thanks so much Nialler"
"Congrats you two love birds" Harry said
"Thanks Hazza"
"Just remember if you hurt her again, I'll kill you cause she is like my sister" Zayn said
"Don't worry Zayn I have no intentions of hurting Y/N"

Everyone left and that night I fell asleep in Lou's arms

Our Wedding was in the spring and we had a fairly large and unique wedding. We got married at an amusement park. Y/BFF/N was my Maid of Honor, Harry was the Best Man, and Lux was the flower girl. Our wedding colors were red and white, and our reception was at the park where we first met.

Why, because this is the song that was playing in the background when he proposed to you. Now everytime he is away you listen to this song and it reminds you that he will always look after you.
