"Who were your brothers?"

"Oskar and Jacob Bembenek."

"Where is he?"

"Jay, calm down" Maggie replies seeing a familiar look of panic in Jay's eyes, the same kind of panic that flashed across everyone's face when they saw on of their best doctors unconscious on a gurney.

"Don't tell me to calm down!" Jay began to yell, "I know my brother is in here, just show me where." Jay begins to step but stumbles a little catching himself on the desk, Maggie rushes to his side.

"Whoa, Jay are you ok?"

"I'm fine, just tell me where Will is." Jay responds, shaking his head in an attempt to rid himself of the dizziness, it didn't help and he began to stumble again. This time Maggie helps catch him.

"Jay, are you sure you're ok? When was the last time you ate something?"

"Umm," Jay begins fearing how Maggie would react, "Monday, I think?"

"Monday? Jay it's Friday, you haven't eaten since Will left?" Maggie sighs before continuing, "when was the last time you drank something?"

"Last night, coffee, it's all I've been able to drink since this started?"

"ok," Maggie starts motioning for Natalie to come over so they can get Jay in a room, "Last question, when did you sleep last?" Natalie arrives as Maggie finishes asking the question, Jay nervously looks at her before dragging his hand over his face.

"Sunday night. I'm fine though, I went longer without sleep in the rangers. I just need to see Will." He begins to turn before everything hits him like a truck and he collapses, Maggie and Natalie barely catching him before he hits the floor.

"Someone get me a stretcher and an open room now!" Maggie yells out.

Elizabeth hears the door open and opens her eyes to see Sean standing in front of her. "Come to kill me? Make a ransom tape? Ask for info on Jay? Which is it?"

"Hmm, option D. none of the above, actually. I think I've found a way to make this worse for the honorable Jay Halstead." Sean replies.

"And what's that?" she responds, not really interested in hearing it.

"Well, one of my men just informed me, Jay collapsed at Med after barely eating or sleeping since we took Will. He can't currently do anything to find me, or you and I just know that's going to make him mad, so now, we're going to really mess with him."

"What do you mean, we?"

"I mean you're going to go to med, visit Jay, and ruffle a few feathers. Oh, and I know you're smart and already planning an escape plan but just remember if you dare try to escape, I have men at med already, they will kill everyone, including Jay, Will, and you."

"And what if I don't want to go?"

"Oh, you're going, this isn't a debate." One of Sean's men walks in and throws some fresh clothes at El, "You've got five minutes."

The sunlight hit her hard as she made to short walk into the ED. She only just realized she didn't know what day it was or how long she'd been gone. As she walked in she passed familiar faces, they didn't even look at her as she quickly flashed her volunteer id, making sure to not show her face. A quick lap around the ED and she had found the room that held Jay Halstead. He laid perfectly still on the bed, he had an iv in each arm, no doubt giving him the nutrients he had deprived himself of the past few days. Elizabeth turned around and began to walk towards the entrance to the rest of the hospital, when was grabbed and quickly pulled to a hallway out of the way.

"Where do you think you're going?" The man questioned. Elizabeth quickly figured out it was one of Sean's men.

"The vending machine. Jay is going to be out for at least 30 minutes, what good does waiting in that room do? Unless you want someone to walk in, recognize me, and call all of cpd in here."

The man released El and she went on her way, she got in front of the machine and realized she had no money. "Hey um, excuse me, got any change? I'm short a quarter." she repeated this to anyone who passed by until she had the money she needed. She got what she wanted and made her way back to the ED where she quickly ducked into Jay's room and shut the curtains. She looked at the two items in her hand, a newspaper and a pack of gum, then she looked over to the bedside table which held a pen and notepad. On the notepad she wrote "hey brother" then she leaned back and chewed on her gum while looking at the newspaper. It had been maybe 15 minutes before the silence was broken by a pain filled grunt. Elizabeth slowly lowered the paper and set it on the table before walking over to Jay and handing him a cup of water, "hey there buddy."

Jay took the water and drank a little before turning to thank whoever gave it to him, but when he saw who it was was his eyes went wide, the slow beeping of his heart rate increased to a much faster tempo. El struggled to stay focused, 'just another mission' she thought. "Good seeing you Jay" she calmly said before walking out leaving the doctors and nurses to rush into his room as he tried to go after her, ripping out both his iv's and barely making it through the door before Dr Marcel and Choi were there to stop him.

"Someone grab her! Don't let her go!" Jay yelled, pointing at Elizabeth.

"Jay, buddy you need to calm down, or we'll have to sedate you." Ethan responded, after Jay didn't stop he motioned for one of the nurses to hand him a syringe, after just a few seconds Jay slumped into Choi and Marcel's grip. Natalie walked over to see what all the commotion was about, when she looked outside to see a girl thrown into the back of a van and speed off.

After about 30 minutes Jay wakes up again, "Where is she?"

"Where is who, Jay?" Choi responds while walking over to check Jay's vitals.

"Elizabeth, the girl who was in here earlier, please tell me someone got her."

"Um, no, I didn't know we were supposed to."

"Did anyone see what happened to her?" Jay said, concern in his voice.

"I saw a girl get into a van and speed off." Natalie says as she walked in on their conversation.

"Damn it. She's gone, again. I'm getting out of here, where are my discharge papers?" Jay says as he begins to stand up again only o realize he has ivs back in his arms.

"I'm not sure that's the best idea Jay, you've been through a tough week, maybe you should talk to Dr Charles before you go?" Choi says.

"No, I need to leave now." Jay responds.

"Fine I'll go grab them." Ethan responds before walking out with Natalie.

Jay looked over at then bedside table and saw a note that read "Hey brother :)" next to it was a newspaper with the crossword puzzle almost complete, he picked it up to look at and a small paper fell to the ground. He leaned down to grab the paper, realizing it was a gum wrapper, he turned it over and saw a single word written on it, "Bembenek". No, it couldn't be Oskar was killed in prison and Jacob was killed by police, by me. Jay thought to himself. It can't be Bembenek, unless...
