Chapter 1

Firstly, a message from co-creator of "The Quiet One's Secret...", Laura!!

Hey guys!! I'm super exited to do this fan fic as I am actually doing this on my own! Yup you heard me right, I decided to to this because Valentines day is coming up,  and sooo... Yea

Anyways sorry if you don't like this ship, it is my opinion and I'm just doing it because I want to and I find it fun! No hate pls, I respect your opinion so please respect mine!

Vania's P.O.V:

BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!! My alarm went off very loudly in my room, causing me to jolt up, quite frightened. "Ugh.. Curse you damn alarm!!" I shouted as I lent to my right and tried to turn it off. However I might have leant too far, as my clock fell of the desk and onto the floor. Followed after myself, who fell off the bed with a loud thump. BEEP!! BEEEP!!!! Oh yeah, and if my morning wasn't already bad enough, my alarm was STILL beeping. STILL!!. 

Oh well, it isn't easy being the new "Queen of Shintaro", as everyone called me. I preferred Vania to be honest, but I didn't want to be rude. It was... lets say.. hard. Every single day I had to wake up early and greet my people. Then it was the morning processions, then announcements, then the royal banquet at noon. Then, it was the evening ball later on, and the International royalty congregation, which was basically just meeting princes until my bedtime at 9. None of them were ever really my type though.. I guess I just haven't found "The one" yet. I'm starting to wonder if I ever will..

I jumped back on my bed and contemplated things. Mostly things about... my mother. I missed her so much nowadays, it felt like there was a hole in my heart I couldn't replace. I used to think she was an explorer, from the stories my father told about her going on adventures in the wilderness. But now my father is gone... and I found out the real news. He killed her. 

I mean... I didn't believe it at first. But, then I asked him... And, he admitted it with pride, like it was a good thing! I... I can't believe he would act like that, I just... Don't understand... 

Anyway. I don't have to worry about him now. I have bigger problems. Apparently now that I'm Queen, I need to find an heir to the throne soon, just in case. But, I don't even know how to find a good husband, so how am I going to find an heir? It's all so complicated now. 

I wish my mother was here... I keep questioning why my father...W-well, y'now.

"Your Majesty? Are you alright? I heard a crash!" Hailmar (My top guard) said as he came rushing in to my room. "Oh... Yea, I'm fine. Sorry to worry you!" I apologized and he left the room. Oops... I guess I made a lot of noise. I finally got up and dressed and ready to start a new day. A new day, just like all the others. 

Morning processions, announcements, royal banquet. All over again. At least I had some free time now, before the Ball later on. I sat on my bed in boredom, waiting for the time to pass.

"YOUR MAJESTY, COME QUICK!!" Yelled Hailmar as he came up the palace staircase. 'Anything to cure this boredom,' I thought as I ran down. "W-what is it?!" I asked him in curiosity. "I-I don't know, it looks like some kind of portal!" He replied, and we rushed outside. It looked like something was coming out, so the guards gathered their weapons and aimed them at the portal. I was quite scared of it, so I hid behind one of the plant pots. I know, it was sort of silly at the time, but I was unarmed, so it was logical!

As the person turned into two, I could make out a faint shadow. They came out of the portal and-
