Chapter 2

Akita's P.O.V

Me and my brother came out of the portal from the never realm. Was this... Ninjago? I looked around me. Woah. Behind me I saw a fountain, entrapped in a garden of flowers. As I turned around, pillars came into view, revealing a beautiful castle. I couldn't stop gaping at the beauty of this place. 

I looked aside to my brother, who was asking the guards politely to lower their weapons. "We come in peace, I promise you!" He told them. "We will only lower our weapons on the Queen's command!" One of the guards replied, who looked like the leader. "Well where is she?" I asked as the guards looked around. "Uhh... She was right here-" Replied another guard. We all looked around for a while until we heard a sneeze. That was strange, I didn't see anyone sneeze... And it looked like it came from this plant pot nearby, which we all turned our gazes to. 

A small head emerged from the side, looking nervous. "Ah, there she is!" Exclaimed another guard, as my brother gave a bit of a chuckle. "That's the queen!?" He questioned, now in fits of laughter as she looked around with wide eyes. Her eyes looked curious, and they darted everywhere, questioning if it was safe to come out. 

I came up to the plant pot to reassure her. "Hey, it's ok, I won't hurt you!" I said comfortingly, as I held out my hand. She looked up at me with milky brown eyes that grew wider as she saw my face. I giggled as her face went red in embarrassment, and she finally stood up from behind the pot. Woah. She was a lot taller than me... I wasn't expecting that. I looked up at her as she smiled and muttered a little something in my ear. "T-thanks.." She whispered. "L-lower your weapons!" She ordered the guards, and they did so. Then she rushed into the palace. A bit odd, I thought.

Vania's P.O.V

Holy guacamole- that was wild...

Ugh... nobody says that-

Why do I have to be so... cringe!?

I should've never hidden behind that plant pot...

Ok, I'll tell you what happened. The shadows emerged from the portal, but I didn't want to look, so I kept hiding. Then I heard a voice. A male's, saying they come in peace. They...

I heard the  guards saying they will only do so on my command. Then I heard a female, asking where the queen was. 'Oh- Well I'll just stay now I guess...' I thought, as it meant no social interaction. I always get so awkward when I talk to people... I just really wanted to stay hidden, for my own safety. 

Sadly my nose didn't seem to agree with me. A loud sneeze broke the silence. 'Oops...' I thought, as I felt everyone's gaze fall apon me. I decided to poke my head out, just to see if they were. Yep, I was right... 

Didn't feel that good though. Great Vania, you've just made an even worse impression on yourself then you usually do! Just great. I looked around a bit before my head ducked back behind the plant pot in embarrassment. I didn't want to look at the guests though, I didn't really want to be noticed that much... Well, I already had been but- 

Okay, never mind. 

The male was laughing hysterically at me. I felt humiliated. I popped my head out again, wondering if it was safe. But I ducked back in. It was hopeless. 

"Hey, it's ok, I won't hurt you!" I heard, and I looked up to see a girl. A p-pretty girl... I didn't realise how long I had been staring into her eyes as she started to giggle. I blushed intensely as I had just embarrassed myself. Again. But... It seemed different this time... I wondered what it was... 

I didn't wanna stick around to find out. I had already made enough of a fool of myself! I stood up from the plant pot and looked down at her. Oh yeah, I'm tall by the way. I hate it. My whole life I try to fit in... But I couldn't. In school I was always taller than people, which always seemed to draw more attention to me... A-anyway, I bent down a little to say thanks, told the guards to lower their weapons... blah blah blah... And rushed to my room. What a day..

Don't say, yes,

I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door...
