Graysons POV

She would not leave my mind, from the blonde roots to the black boots. She was there, her body spinning in my mind. Gosh, Gray, get your head out of the gutter.

I didn't care about Amelia who was currently waiting in one of the many bedrooms of our house, she was the least of my worries, mystery girl however, now that was something.

My hand reached out for a cup of anything that was displayed on the kitchen counter, and I downed it to try and clear my head, I turned to throw the cup in the trash can, and that's when I saw her, middle of the living room and dancing by herself. I don't get why such a pretty girl would be dancing by herself. I could tell she was under the influence, as I spotted her when she got to the party, and for most of it she had stayed in the shadows, until now.

For some reason, I felt a pull that led me straight towards her. My hands instantly found her waist and I was surprised when she didn't turn around, she just carried on dancing, maybe even a little more than before, unless that was just my imagination.

"See this is what I like to see more often." I found the courage in me to say, smirking as I got closer to her ear.

"What a drunk girl letting loose, you don't see it that often with me. I like to think I keep myself sane." She replied, in that sweet like honey voice. I found myself actually smiling to myself and chucking lightly.

I left her to carry on, not wanting to ruin her fun. We must've been dancing for a good five minutes, my hands occasionally slipping to her ass before she pulled them back up to her waist. Just as the beat got good, she decided to spin and lost her footing, this meant she was now facing me, eyes looking at my lips before darting up to mine.

Her green eyes shone under the strobe light, cheeks flushed from the dancing and red lipstick that I could tell had been reapplied a few times. Her hair fell in waves around her shoulders and beyond, her shirt just low enough for my eyes to wander, but I didn't let them wander for long. In an instant my eyes met hers again, and I was surprised to see a hint of worry in them.

"What's wrong beautiful, cat got your tongue?" I questioned, still keeping eye contact.

"No," she cleared her throat before she spoke again, "sorry, you just caught me by surprise."

"What I can't dance with a pretty girl." Her lips crept up into a smile, while she swatted her hand on my chest.

"Shut up, I'm Rose by the way, I believe we've met before." She glanced up at me, her height not being the most convenient in the world.

"Ah of course, how could I forget, you ruined my makeup session in the bathroom." I laughed and quickly caught a blush spreading in her cheeks.

"I know, I'm sorry. But really a bathroom could you be more of a gentleman?" She question, looking at me again with a smile still on her lips.

"You should know that at parties, you don't just go wandering into a bathroom half naked unless you want something."

"My shirt was soaked with punch, what was I meant to do!"

"Not take it off until you know it's empty. I'm Grayson by the way." My awkward self held out my hand, and she looked at me questioningly, before taking my hand in hers and giving it a firm shake. We both let out a laugh at the same time, suprised that I did that.

What was funny was, we were still in the middle of the dance floor and had not moved an inch. But I didn't care, I was just too excited, I could've been anywhere right now and I wouldn't care.
