Chapter eight

We walk deep into the woods until we came across our favorite place, there was the large rock and a well in the center of the clearing. It was a gorgeous spot but the well could be scary sometimes when you look into it, it went down deep. I look into the deep well and Liam pulls my arm back gently when I accidentally bump into him. "Don't get to close, you'll fall" he says playfully. I go to the large rock and sit on top of it and Liam comes and joins me. "Whatcha thinking about?" He asks. "Nothing." I say quietly and he turns my head towards him with his hand and makes me look in his gorgeous blue eyes. "Anything bothering you?" He asks. "Just what I saw" I say. "Oh man, you know what I forgot?" Liam says as he jumped off of the rock. "Lacrosse practice." Liam says and pulls my arm so that I was now standing. "Let's go, we're gonna be late." He says and we run off towards the school.

"Sorry we're late." Liam says to Scott in the hallway outside the locker rooms. "Where were yall?" Stiles asks coming up from behind Scott and staring at me hard in the eye. "We were talking." I say and head to the girls locker room and saw Kira putting on her jersey. Kira and I were the only two girls on the lacrosse team, coach saw us playing around on the field one day and came up to us and asked us to try out so we did and of course, he liked our performance so much that he wanted us on the team.

I grab my jersey from my locker, it had a number eight on it, coach said we could pick our numbers so I chose eight because Liam is a number nine and I just wanted to be eight cause eight cones before nine. Scott thought that was cute but stiles on the other hand told me to choose a different number, I don't know what the big deal was though, isn't he with Malia? I thought he was, I should ask him about it later.

I finish putting on my lacrosse jersey and head to Kira who was getting her helmet from one of the shelves. I grab mine too. "I heard." She says. "Heard what?" I ask nervously. "You and Liam? That's so cute." She says. "Ohh yeah." I say as I put my helmet on. "Are y'all intimate?" She asks. "I think so, I just found out a few days ago that he is my anchor." I say. "That's so cute." She says. "You and Scott still a thing?" I ask her and she nods. "Yes, yes we are." She says. "We should get going, I heard coach's whistle." I say and we both run out of the locker room and to the field and we all huddled around in a circle around coach. "I want y'all to have a good practice and no slacking off, Stilinski!" Coach says and looked at stiles who was panting from running onto the field.

Coach blew his whistle and we all spread out onto the field. Liam was towards the center with Scott and they were practicing some quick drills. Kira and I were going to partner up to practice our own skills as well. She brought her stick up with the ball in it and swung it and I wasn't paying attention until it hit me in my stomach and I leaned over. "Sorry." She says. I get up and put the ball in the net on my stick. "It's okay" I say and swing mine over and the ball goes flying and she catches it in her own net.

After a few hours of practice, coach blows into his whistle and we draw our attention to coach and we huddle in a circle around him again. "Good practice, the game is next Wednesday, next practice on Monday." He coach says and he shooes us away and I take my helmet off and take a long deep breathe.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around and see Liam. "Good job today." He says. "Thanks, you too." I say and we walk to our locker rooms and I take my jersey off and store my things away and pick up my backpack from the bench in the center of the locker room and swing it over my shoulder. I walk out of the girls locker room and Liam is there waiting by the door to the boys locker room. "What are you gonna do right now?" Liam asks me as he walks up to me and we walk out of the school. "We were gonna go talk to perrish about decota and his gang I thought." I say. "Oh yeah, that's right, let's go get Scott and stiles." He says and we walk back inside and we see Scott and stiles in the hallway talking. "Hey guys." Liam says. "Hey, y'all ready to go talk to perrish?" Scott asks. "Yeah, we were just about to come to tell y'all that." Liam says. "Okay, then let's go then?" Stiles says and he leads the way outside and to his jeap.
