Chapter 1

Balem's POV

I sit, looking out of the window to the abyss of the refinery. I can't stand just staring at it I get up and pace. I walk back to the window but this time only pay attention to my reflection. I go back to pacing. I can see how my personality is reflected on what I wear. A cold harsh person. A Broken person. The memory of my past flashes back into my mind. I see her. My mother, the only one who understood me.

"Balem" she says she walked to where I am standing

"You can't spend your life in that spot." Her voice is soft, soothing, just like my mothers.

"Jupiter." I say. I hesitate because I notice how different my voice is than hers, it's a raspy whisper. "you do not need to comfort me." I look back at her her hair is glowing by the light of the storm outside. How it reflects off the windows leaving a warm glow.

"Well you looked like you were about to have one of you day nightmares again, you really need to get over this balem. It was in the past. It's over now."

I can't help but walk up to her. Wrapping my cool hand around her warm hips and pulling her in to kiss. I love the way her lips feel. Soft. We stay together until she drifts off and leaves the room

I am left with a warm sensation in my body. She does that to you
