Michelle let out a breath, "Just because you made someone try to kill herself doesn't mean she won't be glad to see you," She said to him as she approached the gate that led to the garden, Sid started to follow her and I was close behind him.
"You reckon?"
Michelle peeked over the gate, everyone was in the back it seemed, "Wow," We all said in unison once we saw the patients, all in white, dancing around the garden seeming drugged up and in a dazed state. Some treatment center, huh?
"What the fuck are they doing?" I questioned as I balanced on my tiptoes to get a better look at the garden.
Michelle looked at me, furrowing her brow, "They're trying to be happy, guys, it isn't easy," She pushed open the gate and walked in. W kept a low profile, making sure no nurses or doctors got eyes on us as we hunted for Cassie.
"Can you see her?"
Michelle shook her head, "Let's mingle," She said to us as we stepped out of hiding into the groups of people, "Just be... Inconspicuous."
We walked through the garden, a few minutes passed and I got eyes on the blonde, she was sitting on a bench next to some boy, "Here, there she is," I pointed her out and Sid turned around, letting out a breath.
"Cass," He said as he approached her, she looked up, a smile forming on her face.
"Oh, wow. Hi," She greeted us as we neared closer to her, "What a lovely surprise."
I smiled down at her, "Hi, Cassie, how are you?" I asked her.
"I'm so cool," She replied, she sounded sort of off, much like the first time I met her. Just dazed and seeming like she just wasn't on Earth. "But, we're not supposed to have visitors during happy time..."
I looked over to Sid and Michelle for a moment then back to Cassie, "Oh, we won't be sticking around long, Sid wants to say something."
"Lovely."
"Michelle and I will leave you to it, alright?" I smiled and we walked away, leaving Sid behind with Cassie.
I followed Michelle over to the snack table and as she started picking away at some of the finger sandwiches, a boy walked over to us, raising a brow, "What are you doing here?" He asked her.
"Er- visiting," Michelle said to him, "What are you doing?"
"Working for my mum, she kind of owns the place... I think you might be breaking the rules," He teased her and I stood there, tilting my head to the side, starting to smile.
"Oh," I heard an older lady speak up that the boy was with, "Leave the girl alone."
I let out a small laugh and Michelle looked over at me, then back to the boy, "You're right, Marjorie..." He said to her then he looked back at Michelle, "Take your time."
Michelle nodded at him, picking up a sandwich, "Thank you."
"Listen, do you fancy a coffee maybe? Tomorrow?"
I raised a brow, growing more and more interested in the conversation that was happening in front of me. Was Michelle actually moving on from Tony and on to a nice, working boy? "Yeah, nice," Michelle said to him, the smile on her face growing.
