Chapter 1- How To Be

Your Song by Kate Walsh played softly through my headphones as I strummed my guitar while lying in the field.
I used this time to gather my thoughts and think of possible scenarios of my life being played out, just like in the movies.
Lately, I had found myself thinking about what I wanted to do in life, like what I really wanted to do.
I knew that I wanted to be remembered for something.
Not something miniscule.
But not something too important.
Just something.
I've learned, that in life, in order to do things, you have to put yourself out there.
I thought about how to go around that proposal and the idea floated around in my head for a bit. I'd always wanted to do something with my life but was never really sure what I wanted to do exactly.
I knew that not many people know everything about what they want their life to be when they got older, but just the idea of someone, just one person knowing where they wanted to go, or what they wanted to do with their life, bothered me greatly.
Just the thought of that one single solitary person defiant and decided on that one decision that would mold the rest of their life provided me with a challenge.
It made me think that they had always been one step ahead of me, like I was just left behind to catch up.
Even though I knew this thought bothered me terribly, I also knew that I was determined to make myself go ahead of my original goal of what I wanted to do. My life may not be cliché, but I promised myself that day, that it would be full of good-thought and meaning.
Even if it currently wasn't turning out to be as great as I pictured it.

Okay, so basically i'd really absolutely LOVE any feedback on this story whether its negative or positive or about spelling corrections or anything you didnt understand. I really hope you guys liked the first chapter, and im sorry that its short but im kind of busy with some things right now so please bare with me.
