The Jungle in The Book

Voices

When we got done doing all of that I ended up getting home around 8:30, the movie was longer than expected but really good. So I was really happy about that. Since it was already 8:30 I decided to get ready to go to bed but before bed I wanted to read some of the book I just got. Once I was ready for bed I laid down to start reading . I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect since the librarian had said that it was different but not in a good way. I started reading and the first chapter two chapters were fine  it was just talking about two kids around my age walking around their town and about them.

Then it got interesting in chapter 3 it started talking about them walking near a jungle because they live near a jungle and then vines grabbed them and pulled them in.  I read up to chapter 4 I was getting weird vibes from the book but it hooked me in. I stopped  reading around 9:30 I was really tired so I went to bed.

Things started to get wired, I started hearing voices. I thought it was just in my dream so it didn't bother me that much. I woke up wanting a glass of water, so I woke up to get a glass of water. but while I was in my kitchen the book fell off my side table. I startled me so I ran to the room the see the book on the floor open to a page. I picked up the book and started reading the page and it said. "The two kids were in the jungle yelling for help they have been for years". I found it really odd because I was hearing two kids yelling for help but I didn't care because it might of been just coincidence.

I drank my glass of water and went back to bed. I made sure the book was closed and on my side table. I went back to bed but I was still hearing those voices, I still thought it was my dream. When I was still sleeping I heard a thud but I didn't pay attention to hit. The last thing I remember is seeing the book open glowing and vines around my room and really loud screams of "HELP". The vines were pulling me in. I couldn't believe what was happening.
