"Wow!!" Ozuko's face was flooded with astonishment. "Just wow." He found it hard to believe what he'd just seen. "I have to be certain."
"Did I do something wrong?" Itan-sha was clueless.
Just now, Ozuko put Itan-sha thru numerous tests. There was no way the three year old Itan-sha could know he passed each one. Not only thoroughly but also extremely well.
Gauging his talent nearly caused Ozuko's heart to skip a few heartbeats due to shock. He took a few steps back while preparing his next words.
Itan-sha being here for nearly a month now had grown accustomed to such pauses. The old guy would often stop and gaze deeply at him.
Causing Itan-sha to not know whether he's done good or bad.The tests themselves weren't too complicated. But it took an entire two weeks of rest and preparations for aforementioned tests to even begin.
According to Ozuko, he had to first unleash his potential talent, as he called it. This involved a lot of explanations and meditation. A lot of the explanations, Itan-sha couldn't understand.
The old guy just kept talking about three once being one. Different ranking systems amongst the three, now separate yet whole. He mentioned a strong Will every other sentence.
Saying stuff like, "Only with a strong Will can one become lord." And, "A strong Will can allow one to do so easily."
Although most of it was too much for Itan-sha, he was actually rather interested when Ozuko spoke of Aurah.
"Aruah is life itself." He'd say. "Energy penetrating everything everywhere." Those words caused Itan-sha's ears to perk up.
From what he understood, as long as one had a dense enough Aurah and a strong enough will, they would then be capable of almost anything. Even beating one of these mystical SageLord's.
Itan-sha sat through a week straight of listening to Ozuko explain these things. All the while fiercely exercising for no less than three hours each day. Even when the explanations stopped, the exercise continued.
Ozuko insisted upon it. Repeatedly saying that if he didn't meet his standards, he wouldn't be able to eat that night. Itan-sha saw to it he never missed a meal with Ozuko.
After a couple weeks Itan-sha was healthier then he had ever been before. With all the food and exercise, he was two times the size he was at the start of their training.
At this point, the old guy wanted to start testing his talent. But to do so required a ritual. Ozuko took Itan-sha and laid him on the floor amidst all types of symbols and shapes.
The old guy stuck his hands onto Itan-sha's temples and light flashed. It wasn't too bright, but if one looked too long at it, they would see all the symbols from the floor seem to be absorbed into that light.
No one ever would though. It all happened in a second. Itan-sha's entire body trembled in the old man's hands. Then, starting from his center, a sudden pulse sprung forth. It forced Ozuko back a few steps and spread into the forest covered mountain.
The tent Rai Baru and Ozuko lived in was no match. It was quickly torn apart from the blast contained within that pulse. Leaving both Itan-sha and the old man fully exposed to the world outside.
Even Rai Baru playing at a nearby river felt the aftermath of that pulse. Falling in and nearly drowning. Luckily it was too shallow for such tragedy.
Bewildered, Ozuko was at a loss for words. This was the first time he stared deeply at Itan-sha. As if there was a Beast there and not an infant.
It took him a while to finally pull himself together. "How does it feel?"
He asked the child, who he can now only think of as a Beast."Exhilarating!!" Itan-sha grinned.
Just now, Ozuko performed a delicate ritual. One done to kick start Aurah Manipulation. It was an extremely mysterious technique. With it, one could start Aurah Manipulation as early as three years old, but there's a catch.
To start Manipulation at such an early age is unheard of. According to Ozuko, the people of this continent only started Aurah Manipulation at the age of ten. The slowest bloomer should began at the age of fourteen.
Which goes to show how ridiculously mysterious the old man's technique is. Ozuko took his own personal Aurah and manipulated it to transfix upon Itan-sha's Aurah. Infusing him with Aurah transformed into his own.
It had went smoothly with Rai Baru. There was a pulse, but nothing strong enough to push Ozuko back. Yet along rip the tent to smithereens.
Putting that aside, and after seeing to it that his grandson was alright, he had a sudden thought. The old man sought to immediately test the talent of this young Beast he'd found.
What proceeded was a series of tests. Each of which revealed Supreme grades.
"A true Supreme...." Ozuko could not even trace his thoughts anymore. The old guy himself, had come from a mysterious clan of spiritually endowed people. Giving him access to all sorts of mysterious techniques. Even still, his clan hasn't seen the birth of a true Supreme in several generations.
A Supreme is purely rank. The grades of one's talent, from low to high are: Weak, Normal, Rare, and Supreme. You receive a rank in each; spiritual, mental, and physical capabilities. Three grades are then compiled to form your rank.
To be born Supreme in any one class is rare upon rare. Two Supreme grades is simply mythical. To have a Supreme grade in each class, that is a True Supreme. A one in a billion individual.
Yet, just now, Itan-sha achieved three Supreme grades. Leaving the old man testing him without words. Regardless the results of the tests, Itan-sha had never felt better.
He was brimming with energy. From top to bottom, even exuding from his eyes, he could feel his Aurah pulsating. At that moment, Itan-sha begin to imagine what all he was capable of.
