Third person POV:

Y/N ran, he ran back to the only place he knew he could go to.

The hearts kingdom.

Although he hated admitting being the ace of hearts, he was always welcome there. Eret, who was the king of hearts, trusted Y/N. Which was why he was always sent to collect debt from other kingdoms, he either killed them, or bet with them, which he always won. One way or another, Y/N would get their debt they owed. The kingdom wasn't far, everything was close together. He had his own home in the kingdom walls, he planned on hiding there.

Y/N started to slow down his pace, he knew he wasn't being followed anymore, the kingdom he belonged in was right in front of him anyways.

Y/N POV:

Finally, home. It was only a matter of time until I got back, I haven't been back here in a month. I looked up at the surrounding towers of the castle, where I had a place in. I saw Eret in front of it, where he normally stood, looking over everyone. Maybe, seeing him first would be a good idea. But what if he knew I just lost a months worth of debt? 'Yep, I'm dead, just back away Y/N, hopefully they don't see you.'

"Y/N!" I heard Eret's voice call out, I wasn't sure he'd handle this well, I had no other choice but to walk back towards him.

"Heyyyy..so you know how we've been a bit weary about the spades?"

"Yes, we are aware of that."

"Well they're sort of kinda maybe attempting to take down all monarchies, starting with the diamonds, I left my bag there and now everything's screwed up and I-"

"Y/N, calm down, we'll sort this out. Just, walk with me Y/N, we need to discuss what's happening." I watched Eret walk away, into the castle, it's nice knowing someone's looking out for me..And that he's not mad. I just, followed him.

Third person POV:

.

Eret began walking down a long corridor once entering the castle, Y/N catching up. "Now, you see Y/N, spades are, an unusual suit. They're about death, illness, loss-" Eret stopped for a moment, before continuing walking and his explanation. "But, they're also about wisdom, communication, and can move past hardships with their own experience." Y/N looked down at a Spades card tucked into his pocket, which he normally wrote its meaning on the back. It matched perfectly. Every word, was on there. At the end of the corridor was a dead end, with no doors, just large glass stained windows on the walls, a heart stained somewhere on each one. Eret stopped at the end and looked at Y/N, "So, what happened?"

"Well, I lost a weeks worth of debt, lost the list, but learned we're in for the worst." Y/N looked at Eret, who gave him a nod of approval to continue speaking. "We always knew there wasn't much of a king no matter how much the title was forced on him, but we're for sure he's an anarchy, and one without a queen that's for sure. Actually, are suits able to be without a queen?" Y/N took the spade card back out, staring down at it while he awaited a response.

"Any deck can function without a queen, our queen isn't even relevant! They were just given their title, the queen here isn't special but we still function just fine. All you need is a king, ace, and a few loyal cards to have a surviving kingdom." Eret began walking down the corridor once again in the opposite direction, towards the castles exit, Y/N following, dwelling on what Eret told him. They exited the palace while Eret continued walking, Y/N slowly falling behind until it has become harder to see him. He had followed him into the forest the kingdom was surrounded by, a part he had never been through before.

"ERET?" Y/N called out, awaiting an answer..Eret had seemed to have walked off, Y/N hadn't noticed. Eret didn't hear him when he called, but someone else did. They had a gleaming club symbol on their face. They were followed by someone else, with a diamond on their hand. Y/N sat behind on of the trees, hoping the two would pass by. A thought drifted into Y/N's mind, are diamond and clubs allies? They have their kingdoms awefully close, and even though they have arguments they two kingdoms are always just, united. Those thoughts continued in Y/N's mind, until he fell asleep, forgetting about the two other who had heard him earlier.

Hey, it's been almost, a month maybe? I've had a huge ass writer's block so it took a lot of time.  I've also had testing, so it's taken a while. But, this will be the shortest chapter now, so updates will be more frequent!
