You said you would be there and I believed you. So now, I'm sitting here in the rain, like an idiot, waiting.

I thought you wouldn't come.

I saw you running toward me like your life depended on it. You got to me and looked into my eyes.
"Sorry. Missed the bus. Had to run."

The heat of the moment showed in your eyes, and I know it did in mine too. So I kissed you and everything was okay.
