It was 2 days before the Yule ball and you don't have a date. You went to y/h common room and stared singing your f/s. Your friends were in the living room close to the fire talking about their dates and you were kinda jealous that you didn't have one so you took a stroll around the castle then someone calls your name, you turn around and its Hermione( if your a Slytherin or any other house and you hate the golden trio I'm sorry). "Hello Mione, hows your day?" Y/n said. " I'm doing great and guess who asked me to the ball!". " who?" Y/N says. " Viktor Krum asked me to be his date" Hermione said in excitement. You jumped in happiness while you guys went to the great hall to eat a snack.

As you walk in you feel a pair of eyes looking at you. You look to see Blaise Zabani ,a Slytherin looking at you scanning your body. You roll your eyes and keep walking whith Hermione. You sit down on the beside Fred and George who are plotting their next prank on Professor Snape or at Malfoy. " What are you two up to??" Y/N asks. " We are going to prank Filch with pucking Pastilles" said George. You looks shocked that they were pranking somebody else than their usual people. You hear footsteps to see Ron. Your best friend since first year, you had feelings for him since 2nd year but never confessed afraid of rejection . " hello l/n how are you love?" Ron asked. " I'm alright" said Y/N not looking delightful. You just blinked you eyes of one second and now everyone is talking about their dates until you feel a presence behind you.

You turn around to see Blaise. " hello darling can i talk to you for a moment in private?" Blaise asks you politely. " of course Zabani" Y/N says. Blaise and Y/N walk out of the great hall as Ron kept looking.

Ron POV~~~

I keep looking at Y/N because she looks really pretty today. I've fancied her since the second term of 2nd year and i didn't know if she felt the same way so i didn't tell her. Only Harry knows. " Oi mate, stop staring at her or Hermione,Fred,George and everybody else will know" whispers Harry. " I think she would have said yes Ronald" says Hermione. " say yes to what exactly Granger" whispers Fred. " Obviously Ronald here fancies Y/N but he doesn't want to say." Ron gives a death glare to Hermione who just sits there and laughs and then they start waiting for you to come back.

Y/N POV~~~~~
" so Blaise what can i help you with?" Y/N says with a smile on her face. " Well l/n i was wondering if you have a date to the Yule ball?" Asked Blaise. You nod no and look down sad. " Would you like to go with me to the ball darling" asked Blaise. You look at him and say yes and you run back to the group. " I have news people" you say with excitement. " What is it" ask Fred and George at the same time . "Zabani asked me to the Yule Ball" you tell then as Ron pauses what hes doing. Harry looks at Ron in a worried look as Ron tries to process what you had just said in his mind.

  Time Skip

It's the day of the Yule Ball and you wore a light rose pink dress( or whatever color you want) with a pair of silver colored heels. As you walk down the hall you see Zabani snogging Pug face Parkinson. You felt numb and went back to your dorm. As you make your way, Harry sees you and hugs you tight. You tell him what happened and he makes you feel better. As you guys are talking you see Ron and he looks at you worried. You run up to him and hug him. " hey why the tears love. A princess like you shouldn't be crying" Ron says as he puts a hand on your cheek. " i caught Zabani snogging Pug face and harry saw me and he comforted me." Y/N says as she starts crying again.( BTW you don't have mascara on so your good) " I know its not good timing but would you like to be my date to the ball?" Ron asks. You jump in his arms and say yes as you guys go in Ron pulls you to dance and you guys were having a blast.

The ball is over and Ron walks you back to y/h dorm. " Hey l/n i have something to say" Ron says. " What is it Ron?" You ask. " I've fancied you since 2nd year and i was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend" Ron said as he looked at the floor shyly. You pick up his head so he looks at you and you kiss him and he kisses you back. " Yes Ronald Weasley, I would love to be your girlfriend" Y/N says with a smile. And that was a beginning to a good relationship that lasted forever.
