I was currently at work. The struggle was an understatement. I live in the projects the most dangerous neighborhood in out city. I live in Los Atlos in California (A/N; Los Atlos not really like this but that's how we gone make it💀) I worked at foot madness which is actually a new shoe store that just opened up and they sell fire custom made designer shoes. I work from 10 to 10 and make 75.50 an hour. I make 4,530 a week.

That enough to pay bills, Get food, water and other necessities, Get to and from work and whatever else I got to do. Since I got a 36 on my ACT test I'm on a free scholarship in college which I do online. I've been doing it since I was 15. I got my Real Estate license and I graduate buissness school when I'm 19. My mother abandoned me and my little brother AJ a few years ago and as it already wasn't hard enough she made if worse. I have no clue where she went.

Being honest with you I don't know who I work for. You see Tone is the manager but he's not the owner. He knows who the owner is but we don't we just know he is gonna pop up randomly like he said. I had to bring AJ with me today since they closed the school down. I gotta find a new one. I had him with me at all times unless I went to help someone them he stayed behind the counter.

It was actually way past my shift but since I was closing up today I had to do extra before leaving. I heard the bell rang and without even looking up I spoke.

Me: Sorry we're closed.

I took all the money and put in the bag as I usually do. When I looked at i seen a group of men. One of them was Skull, Kay baby daddy.

Wonder what he's doing here?

As soon as that thought went away my soul damn near flew out my body when Ice walked in. Ice made any girl gush n smile even the cougars. Ice was a ladies man but the men Envy him, well that's unless your his homies. Ace had connects from the streets to the government. He had connections from different countries, even different continents. He knew the police chief and all. He had a few buissness out there that was booming. I'm talking clubs, studios, gun shops, restaurants,Etc. He was rich as hell. He had a private island, three Jets, sox boats and houses everywhere the man was an Angel. But one for sure two things for sure he didn't pay bout his family, close homies nor his money.

He looked at me and they all followed him to the counter. Idk what expression my face held but he was smirking at it.

AJ: Luna I want some McDonald's.

I turned to him.

Me: Not tonight AJ.

He frowned stomping off to the back and I sighed. I didn't have the money right now since I had put down a payment for a car it took up the rest of my spending money for last month so I gotta wait.

Ice: Why you can't get my young boy no McDonald's?

I was honestly shook up. His voice was super deep and gave me chills but I needs to keep my big girl panties on.

Me: I'm tired, Its late and I ain't get paid yet so do yah mind?

Skull: Say Luna don't get buck wit my brudda nah.
