"Hyung, could you tell me how to get to the nearest bridge? I need to throw myself off of it."
Namjoon rolled his eyes for what felt like the thousandth time in less than an hour. He didn't think the younger could get any more dramatic than yesterday's outfit fiasco, but damn, had he been wrong.
"You're making a big deal out of nothing, Jungkook," he sighed.
"Nothing?!" he yelled, turning with wide eyes. "He probably hates me right now! I gave into my wolf for two fucking seconds to be playful and the next thing I know I'm nibbling on his fucking ear-"
The future pack leader held up the palm of his hand, signalling Jungkook to stop. In most cases, Jungkook would've kept going, but the clenched jaw and raised eyebrow of the alpha had him shutting up instantly.
Namjoon was scary when he was mad.
"I swear to Luna, Kook, it's been less than 24 hours, and you're already getting on my nerves. I understand that this situation is difficult for both of you having been friends for so long, but you two need to sit down and talk about it instead of running away from it. I'll bet you my position as future pack leader that Jimin isn't even mad about what your wolf did. If anything, he's probably feeling upset that you left him so suddenly."
He stood up from the edge of his bed, walking up to the younger and cupping his face in his hands.
"Just go talk to him, okay? Talk to him about marking him like I suggested yesterday. Apologize for this morning if you really think it's necessary. But stop overthinking every little thing," he demanded, lightly knocking his knuckles against Jungkook's skull.
Jungkook looked down with a slight blush. "Fine," he muttered. "I'll go back."
"Good." Namjoon gave a small smile before leading the boy out of his small home located near the pack house. "Oh, and one more thing."
The boy turned, a curious look in his eyes.
"If you barge into my house and wake me up this early ever again, I'm throwing you to the rogues, got it?" The tic in his jaw was starting again.
Nodding quickly so as not to anger him further, Jungkook gave a shy "yes" in response, dashing from the house as fast as his legs could carry him.
Namjoon stood in the doorway for a moment longer, watching the younger leave with a small smirk resting on his lips before returning to the comfort of his bed.

Jimin didn't know how long it had been since the alpha left, but he was still lying in the exact same position as before when the woody citrus scent of his mate returned.
He had regained the use of his limbs shortly after Jungkook left, no longer feeling like jello, but he felt no desire to move and instead remained face down on the bed, alone with his thoughts.
It frustrated him to no end how the simple knowledge that they were mates was quickly changing everything between them. Jimin couldn't look at the boy the same anymore--his heart rate would increase as soon as his divine scent came into proximity, his fingers would tingle to have the boy's soft skin beneath his touch or to have his wavy black hair combed through his hands. He wanted to hold and be held by the boy, the feeling of tranquility he experienced upon waking up this morning leaving him with a craving to feel that way again.
He had never felt this way about anyone before, and the fact that he was feeling these things for Jungkook scared him. He was suddenly seeing the alpha in a new light, and he didn't know how to approach the wave of emotions he was being faced with.
