AZEALA POV

August opened the doors for me as we got in the car.

"So where you wanna eat at?" He broke the silence

"Umm Idk, IHOP?"

"That sounds good"

We walked in IHOP and ordered our food. I asked chocolate pancake and August ordered strawberry pancakes. We got our food and ate.

"Where you from?" August asked

"New York"

"Yass I love new york" he clapped

I laughed "yeah me too"

"So what about you?" I asked

"New Orleans" he said with an accent

We laughed

"where you work?"

"I'm a part time nurse"

"Yes, make that money!"

Lord knows I was secretly staring at him and I think he noticed.

He looked up. And looked in my eyes. I felt something like nervousness........but something else and I could tell he'd felt it too.

AUGUST POV

I was looking in her big hazel eyes and it was like we were reading something about eachother but didn't know what. We broke contact at the same time.

She smiled, damn that shit was lighting the room up.

"Ayee, yu got sum right there"

"Really?!"

"Here lemme get that" she said wiping syrup on my nose

"Goofy ahh"

After we were done, I paid the bill and we got in the car and left.

"Where we going?" She asked

"To the mall"

"Okay, umm August?" She said hesitantly

"Yeah"

"You don't have to buy my stuff, lol I have my own money..js"

I laughed "yeah ma I know, but today I gotchu"

She blushed. A independent girl. Yes that's what I loved.

AZEALA POV

We walked in the mall and he took me to my favorite store "Victoria secret" I picked out a hoodie, perfume, and

"Hope imma be able to see you in that ma" he joked

Lol we walked around and got some other things and left. It was only 3:00

"TO THE PARK!" he yelled

He got to the park and it seemed so pretty we had a convo. About life, left and he asked if I wanted to see a movie...and then dinner

"Yeah, but what to see?"

"Umm, what about Ouji?"

"That's scary, okay let's see it, but this time I get to play for the tickets..okay?"

"Okay, that's fine"

AUGUST POV

damn, she was determined to pay for something I thought

Around 6:00 we went to the movies and sure enough she paid for tickets and snacks. We sat down and the movie was scary frfr we jumped and she hold on to my arm tightly. After the movie was over it was 7:30 I dropped her off home to get ready by 8:00

AZEALA POV

I had so much fun and I wasn't even over! I brought my bags in, ran upstairs took another shower, flat ironed my hair put a little glitter in it, did my makeup and hygene and got dressed.

I put on my mid thigh black dress that hugged my curves, black high heels with a spiked gold platform and heel, my gold bracelet & watch , gold necklace, gold spiked earrings and black & gold clutch and lip gloss. it was 8:00 when the doorbell rang. I opened the door, locked it and stepped out.

August looked amazing!

AUGUST POV

Man when she came out, whoa she was stunning! Like DAMN!

"You look beautiful" I said

Blushing she said "thank you, you look good too"

I had on a black shirt with my gold chain, black shoes & black watch.

We went to Red Lobster

I ordered steak and shrimp Alfredo

She ordered shrimp and lobster. I wiped some alfredo on her nose she stuck her lip out and said

"No fair"

"Pay back, You had i coming"

We talked, laughed and ate. in the end she tipped the waiter, and I payed the bill. I took her home and walked her to the door. For a moment she looked in my eyes again and I looked in hers. I grabbed her waist and she grabbed my neck and I leaned down and kissed her. It felt like fire works! She smiled

"I had a great time."

"Me too" I said letting her go

She walked in the house and I went home
