Brahms x Reader part one

This takes place after the first movie, and we ignoring the second movie. So in this people buy the manor and try to fix the holes in the wall and add cabins on the property to rent out to travelers. You are the first one to rent a property, just you and the stinky wall man.

You had to get out of America for a while. You just broke up with Kyle, your toxic ex-boyfriend. He was a jerk, you finally left after sneaking out one night and hitchhiking your way to the airport and buying the first flight to anywhere. When you got off the plane you were in the U.K. and had to find a quick and cheep place to live. You walked into town and to a pub where you met a gentlemen and a woman. They told you about the cabins and small one-story homes that were being built on a property, where the Heelshire family once lived and that it had scary stories from that place but that the new owners of the property need renters to pay off building on the land and fixing the manor where the owners planed to live. They cautioned you that a nanny and a friend named Malcolm were scared of that place for reasons but didn't tell you why, just that a boy died there in a fire.

You were scared by the stories and the couple but really needed a place to stay that wasn't in town where Kyle might find you, and so you asked for the number of the owners and called them. You met up with them and they drove you down to the property. They were older, elderly, but the mans hands clearly showed signs that he was working hard building. They drove past a few small cabins and eventually brought you to a small one-story home. Past the trees on the adjacent side of the front of the home you could see the manor past the tree line.

The woman took you inside and gave a tour, you had a bathroom, a toilet room, one bedroom, and office, a Livingroom/dining room, a kitchen, and laundry machine on the side of the kitchen, in the kitchen really. It was small but cozy. The furniture didn't match but looked nice, the walls were painted nicely and there was good lighting. The man took you to the fridge and opened it, "You already have food and drinks. New toiletries aswell, fresh towels and sheets. We originally had someone to rent this place but they left after being here a week."

"Why did they leave?"

"They were nuts, said they heard the voice of a small boy." the man said in a grumbling tone.

"Oh, is that so?" you asked.

"Yes, but I haven't heard a thing myself." she giggled. "Sense you have no money, we can make a deal like you mentioned on the phone. You live here, you do some work at the manor."

"Don't you live there?" you ask confused.

"Oh no dear! We don't, we just used to know the Heelshire family and want the home in tip top shape, we live in town at our flat. You will act as a sort of maid. Just mop the floors, dust, take out the traps and redo them. Here is your list." as you took the paper you felt the woman's soft cold hands. You got the chills, not from the cold hands, but from the last few rules.

Say 'I'm coming in' when entering the home

Play music as soon as you enter home

Knock on the door when about to enter a room

Leave extra food in fridge for gardener and grounds keeper, they will eat it

Say 'I'm Leaving' when exiting the home

Strange rules, you thought to yourself. "I understand, ma'am." you said, folding the paper and putting it in your wallet. The man set your single carry-on bag on the floor. "Are you sure you don't need cloths? This one bag seems so little."
