8:53 am

Garfield is now working at his second exam papers. Trix and Barnaby have exited earlier to go to the library and cafeteria independently.

As he tries to answer an enumerated question, he heard the fire alarm.

The whole class got confused and some of them mockingly shouted and became "panicky" just for the heck of it.

"We're all gonna die!"

"Sunog![1] Sunog!"

"WEE HUUU WEEEE HUUU WEEEE HUUU"

"AYAY YAY I'M A LITTLE BUTTERFLY"

Ms. Vicente scolded them, "Keep quiet, everyone! Go outside and exit properly and quietly."

Her harsh tone and piercing gaze made most of the students obeyed her orders without hesitation. They took their bags and Garfield is the last one to get out of the room, along with the teacher. Their classroom were in somehow at the middle, which it'll take a minute to get down to the only stairwell of this building. The other stairwell is at the East Building.

As Garfield came out of the class room, a loud screaming followed by several gunshots were heard. A flock of students came on Garfield's way, stumbling down along with him. As he tries to push them away, he got to see the grisly scene that made him shiver through his bones: A boy, probably same age as himself, shooting indiscriminately to the students and teachers. Bodies are everywhere from the halls as the wounded and dying are mixed with the dead. Some of his schoolmates are rushing to their classroom, closing the doors and barricading themselves to safety. The others are running away from him, rushing at the other building on the hallways.

The shooter started firing the students fleeing to the connector of the West Building when Garfield tried to stand up, along with the other students who were also trying to get up and run. This caught the shooter's attention; aiming down his sights at them.

As Garfield tries to back off, one students stood up between him and the shooter's line of fire. Kirsten, regardless, fired his gun, hitting the student instead of Garfield. The blood spouts in his face and eyes, blinding him.

"Son of a-..." he shouted as he tries to run off despite he can't see properly. A sound of clicking made from Kristen's gun as he pulled the trigger. He tried several times but it only went clicked. His gun got jammed.

Kirsten went on full rage as he tries to fix his gun while the rest of the students, including Garfield, hastily tries to find an open door.

Garfield is still blinded as he felt a hand grabbing him. Kirsten unjammed his weapon as the door went shut, trapping one female student who is now banging the closed door, pleading, "Open the door! Open the fucking door! Help me!"

"Emma." Kirsten said coldly as he walked closer to her. With tears and snot, she knelt down crying, "Please, I don't want any trouble."

"You know me, Emma." he muttered as she looked at his cold-hearted eyes, "I don't forget nor forgive."

A hard swing with the rifle stock hit Emma's Jaws, breaking it and knocking her off the ground heap of her dead classmates and schoolmates. A painful screech was made by her as she tries crawl away from him. Her mandible is visibly out of place; it was hanging loose.

Another hit from her head made by Kirsten, knocking her down for good. However, it didn't stopped him bashing her skull. In rage, he screamed as he keep on bashing, making a sickening crackling noise and splattering her gray matter unto his face.

8:52 am

Barnaby is at the canteen, eating his snacks early. He finished his first exam earlier than Garfield so he went to eat without him.

"Coffee bread is tasty as fuck. I really wonder why Garfield hate it." He said to himself as he took a bite from the bread.

A faint fire alarm was heard on the West Building. Most of the students went to take a look, including Barnaby. Flashes of light can be spotted from afar.

" Jesus Christ, at the time like this?" said Omar, one of the top students in the San Anghel University.

"What happened?" asked Barnaby as he took another bite.

"Some assholes just made another prank again." Omar angrily replied. The fire alarm went on till it subsides, making everyone to hear some faint cracks and screaming.

"Seriously? Screaming?" he shouted, which made some of them startled.

Barnaby felt uneasiness hovering around him, "I don't think that's not a prank."

"Why?" Omar glared at him, "Are you one of them too?"

Before Barnaby can defend himself, they noticed a man wearing a black baseball cap, a tactical vest and a cigarette in his mouth. He noticed his guns, a shotgun and a revolver in his holster, which made him more uncomfortable than ever.

That made Omar went on full rage as he called him out angrily, "Hey, Morris! Did you do this?"

A loud chucking noise made by Morris' shotgun getting pumped, making most of the student turned their heads to see him.

Before Omar can say anything stupid, Morris sprayed him with lead on his chest. He fell down - blood started to fork up around his cold body.

"WHAT THE FU-..." one girl shouted but didn't finished her sentence as Morris shot her in the head, spraying her brains to her schoolmates and classmates, which included Barnaby.

After the second shot, the students realized the situation as they began to flee or hide. Barnaby ran with the others away from the cafeteria.

Morris fired few rounds at them. One by one, they fell on the ground, either wounded or dead.

One of them got shot in the leg. As he fell down, he unknowingly tripped Barnaby, who was beside him while they ran away.

Barnaby hit his head on the ground and went unconscious.

8:56 am

Trix is with her classmates and her teacher in a classroom, successfully barricaded themselves from the attacker.

"What the fuck is that?"

"Jesus, he killed them!"

"Putang ina[2], mamamatay tayo dito!"[3]

"I don't want to die right now!"

The classroom is filled with sobs and confusion. Trix, despite of the chaos hovering in the atmosphere, kept her composure.

"Class," a loud voice came from the teacher's table. It was Mr. Craweford, their adviser.

"We need to calm ourselves before we do something irrational." he spoke sternly. Sooner or later, they calmed themselves as silence befell on them with the exception of quiet sobbing.

"OK, first thing to do: we need to call the police. Does anyone brought a phone here?" said Mr. Craweford.

The class went on total silent.

He face-palmed, "Jesus Christ, children. It's not like I'm going to confiscate them. We're In a dire situation here."
The class president, Romano Moreno, replied with a fearful tone, "I think it's in the Prefect's of Discipline's office, Sir Crawford."

"Damn this rules at the times like this." Craweford clenched his teeth with frustration. He then let out a sigh, saying, "OK, as of now, we will stay here. We don't want any people getting killed inside, right?"

Trix looks at the piles of tables and chairs on two doors, "It'll be a long day."
