The Badboy and The Deaf Girl

chapter 1

bzzzzz .. bzzzzzzzz .. bzzzzzzz
I feel my phone buzzing from underneath my pillow. I press the snooze button and head to my bathroom. It's currently 3 weeks from the day I start school .. but I'm super nervous because I haven't been to actual school since 5th grade. I have been homeschooled since then. I brush my teeth and head downstairs for some breakfast. I smell the sweet aroma of pancakes and bacon coming from the kitchen area. I walk in to see my older brother sitting at the table scrolling through his phone and I look to see my mom finishing up breakfast. She turns around and I look straight to her lips , "goodmorning sweetie" I'm 100% positive she said. "goodmorning" I said . It's weird to not know what your own voice sounds like .. I could be yelling and not know it .. but I honestly don't think I've ever done that. My mom sets down a plate full of food infront of my brother and then sits one infront of me. I nod as a thanks and quickly eat up. I walk into my room and decide to get ready. I go into my light yellow painted bathroom and apply all of my makeup. I then brush out my long brunette freshly washed hair from last night and straighten it from its natural waves. I then walk into my closet and put on a crop top that comes down right before my belly-button and some light washed capris. I then feel my phone's vibration and look at the text I received.
"Hey wanna come over and hang out?" my best friend Ally said to me.
"sure I'll be over in 10." I replied
My best friend Ally has a deaf little sister so she knows sign language , and we happen to meet at the doctors and me and Ally just clicked and we have been best friends for the past 7 years. I slip on my brown strappy sandles and get ready to leave.

I have been at Ally's house for 25 minutes now and we are headed to go sit outside by her pool.
"So are you excited to come to school?" Ally signed to me

"Yeah I'm also really nervous though but it gives me so much relief that you are going to the same high school." I signed back

We then sit on the side of her pool and stick our feet in and spark small conversation for the rest of the afternoon.
