My demon -Tendou Satori x reader- (HQ ff)

Chapter 4

   Tendou slowly released Ifer's body, which lifelessly fell in the pool of his own blood. He stood up, ran his hand through his red hair and wiped his lips and chin in the back of his hand. His shirt was ripped on many places and was barely covering him. Many ugly wounds, which were still bleeding, could be seen. I looked him in the eyes. They were staring back at me, but they weren't full of bloodlust as I expected them to be. They were full of sadness and compassion.

   'I'm sorry that you had to see this,' he looked away in shame.
'I'll take you home,' he stretched his hand in front of himself and waited patiently for me to accept it. I shook my head and pressed myself on the barrier even more... At least I wanted to press myself more on the barrier. It wasn't there anymore. I tried to stand up, but my legs felt like jelly.
'I promise I won't hurt you. I just want to take you somewhere safe,' he squatted down next to me and smiled at me kindly.
'He won't hurt you anymore. He's gone now. You're safe,' he spoke up in a soft voice again.

   'How can you prove that you're not like him?' I managed to say after a few minutes. The man in front of me just sighed and looked down on his palm.
'I'll give you an Unbreakable promise. The name speaks for itself. It can't be broken. I'd die if I broke it. Will that be enough as a proof?' he said and bit his own palm. I let out a quiet gasp and nodded vaguely.

'I, Tendou the demon from the Other side, promise from my own will to protect you for the rest of your life and I'll stay with you till you tell me to go,' he said and showed his hand under my nose.
'You have to drink a bit,' (honestly, I have no idea what was I writing anymore :/ ) my eyes widened in surprise, but I did as he said. I was expecting the usual metallic taste of blood, but I was wrong. It was a lot sweeter.

   When I looked on his hand again, no bite was there anymore, there was some weird symbol instead.
'See? I'm not lying,' he smiled again. 'Now, if you're ready, we should go before more of them come,' I grabbed onto his hand and he lift me up.
'What are you-' I wanted to argue, but he just gave me a grin and held me closer to him.
'This will be faster, trust me,' he said and spread his wings. They were even bigger from this distance. His wingspan was at least 5 meters, maybe more.

'You should hold tightly. I think he broke one or two of my bones,' Tendou chuckled and bounced off the ground.
'I don't think you should fly when your wings are broken,' I mumbled for myself, but Tendou just let out a honest laugh. How could he hear me?! 'We're connected now.' He answered my thoughts and gave me a smile. I didn't say anything in response. Who is this man... was my last thought before I ran out of energy and passed out in his arms.

Heyyy.

I'm back. Nobody's reading this so far anyway but still. I hope it's not so bad as I see it,which most probably is but...

Well it won't be too long, I'll probably post the rest in one chapter because there won't be any point in posting it separatelly.
