Chapter 2- Back to Reality

That day again.

I sigh as I get out of bed and look at my reflection in the mirror. I'm always such a mess in the morning, but then again, so is everything else in my life.

No matter how much I try, I could never get that incident out of my mind. It's the constant stuff of my nightmares, and I get them a lot.

Oh by the way, I am Peyton Cashmere Reese. Nice to meet you. Don't mind my appearance for now, I'm always like this in the morning. As to what kind of anger I'm carrying inside of me, well, that's for later, when you get to know me more. At least there's one thing you know about me now. I get nightmares. All the time.

The sound of my alarm clock interrupted my thoughts and I just remembered that I have a bunch of things to do today.I feel so stressed out,I rarely get any time for myself.Being young,as they say, is supposed to be carefree but what I am experiencing right now is not close to that.

As I get out of my very comfortable bed,I receive 167 messages,134 missed calls,and 1,087 notifications.I just remembered that today is the release of the new magazine where I am the cover.Yes,I am a model of my father's company,Reese Corporation. Ever heard of it? No? Well, where have you been living under, a rock? Aren't those clothes you're wearing right now from Reesque? Yes that's right, it's my dad's. I know... I have everything a girl would die for, but you don't know...

Out of all the messages I received,one caught my eye:

"Congratulations my princess!! Aren't you a big, lovely girl now?:D I hope that I could be there to watch you but don't worry,I will buy the magazine.Take care and I love you

Before I knew it,tears were streaming down my face as I unconsciously deleted the message. Don't promise what you can't give, I shouted at her in my mind. Don't make me believe in your fairy tales again.

The saddest part? I couldn't help but hope.
