A cocoon hatches as the caterpillar opens its wings and a butterfly flies through the air, fluttering in the breeze it's pink and blue wings glistening in the sunlight.The butterfly lands on a snowflake as it's legs become cold as ice and it's wings hot as the sun. It flies away towards the ground and lands as a darkness flows over its antenna and the butterfly is crushed by the darkness it turns grey and falls into a lake the butterfly is no more.

Xephany woke up with a shriek, sweating his long black hair hung in his eyes. Xephany's hair was down to the middle of his back because he hated haircuts thanks to his father forcing him to cut it off when he was young. He leaned over grabbing the pink ribbon that he'd tie in his hair to look cute, tying the back of it into a ponytail., one long strand of hair over his eye with a blue bow on the top of his head.  He walked into the bathroom and splashed water on his face. The cool water woke him up as he looked in the mirror at his eyes. His vibrant green pupils flashed gold in the mirror "Oh hey sis your looking good today" he said as he looked at the imprint in his hand. Walking back into his room going in his dresser grabbing a white shirt and a glacier blue skirt,in the next drawer he grabbed blue and white stockings.putting the clothes over his skinny yet thick body he stood up grabbing the gold framed glasses he'd gotten from his father,he didn't feel that they helped but he knew not wearing them would piss off his father. He grabbed his silver and black infinity scarf that had been burned,cut,and was taterd but it was his twin sisters and she had died years ago only leaving the scarf. Xephany looked in the mirror one last time looking at the scar in the middle of his throat. He pulled the scarf up over it and tied it. in a high toned voice" time to go to hell".  It was a bit chilly during the walk to school about 58 degrees,A cool calm feel was in the air like watching snow fall,just as Xephany liked it. He went to grab the door as another much bigger hand grabbed his softly," Xephany" Xephanys childhood friend Apara was there."O-Oh hey Apara how have you been he said softly looking at the black tight shirt he was wearing that just barely held his muscles  in. he quickly recovered himself looking back into his eyes."I've been just fine I won the game." He said opening the door. " Thats great bud!, oh thank you" Xephany pushed his hair out his eye as he clenched his scarf. Apara chuckled " Yo remember when we were 7 and I threw a football at you" "Xephany squinted at Apara "Yeah and you hit me in my head and then spent an hour hugging me trying to feed me ice cream so I'd stop crying". Xephany said walking through the door.  Apara chuckled nervously then looked at Xephany "Well uh" Apara started but then was interrupted by Kuin B "Hey how's the hottest guy in school whos all mine!" A girl with short black hair with yellow highlights grabbed his arm giggling giving Xephany a glare as she drug him away.  "I'll see you later k?"Apara said "okay:" Xephany yelled ,As he walked into the bathroom. Feeling a bit jealous and heated Xephany looked at the mirror "Can you believe her Xevhany said to the mirror her eyes turned gold and  her scarf turning black and silver Xevhaany's eyelids were a bit darker as if mascara had permanently bleached her eyelids black,it wasn't too noticeable just looked like she was wearing mascara "It's so warm in here"
