I jumped up, another unsuccessful night. Slowly but surely I'm losing motivation, I just wanna go home. I mean yeah i'm home, but this isn't my home. Hogwarts is my home, if I told that to other people then people would think I'm a complete nutter.

I noticed it's still dark out, so I checked my phone. Wow it's 4:44, this is a sign. Thinking to myself, another try wont hurt. I know this will all be worth it in the end. It's okay if I don't, but I know I will. I go through my camera roll and some Tik Toks of Hogwarts. It gives me good visualization. I start the Julia method and do what I need to do.

Slowly but surely the method is done and all I have to do is go to sleep, I feel so disconnected already. I mutter out with all I can "I intend to wake up on the Hogwarts express." I set my intention, I slowly dozed off.

All of a sudden I woke up! I thought in my head "Shit I woke up in my room again." It was still dark but then i heard train track noises. I realized I woke up mentally not physically. My heart starts jumping, it feels like it's jumping out of my chest. I realize it's happening, it's FINALLY HAPPENING. I've felt this before, so i'm telling myself "don't open your eyes" "Its okay you're shifting,you're shifting" I'm just setting a bunch of affirmations and begging myself not to wake up. I don't want to psych myself out.

All of a sudden, I hear Harry's voice talking to Hermione. I think to myself, this is new, I hear from Harry "The Dursleys sucked yet again. Now that I know what Hogwarts is, I hate that I have to go from that amazing place back to that hell hole." said Harry. I just wanted to hug him. I realized that I can soon. Hermione then says "I had to go home with my parents and you know they are muggles.... I feel so different, I've always thought something was different about me but I'M A WIZARD for Merlin's sake. What about you Joselle?" I was so scared because I still haven't opened my eyes. I started to smell apples, I scripted that.... The scent kept getting stronger while Hermione was talking... Harry began speaking again "Joselle? Oh she's sleeping, maybe we should let her sleep." Hermione scoffed "she just saw us after 3 months and decided to sleep, I'm not letting her sleep." Harry said "Rons sleeping...." "We know not to wake up Ronald, you stupid imbecile, go wake up Joselle." My heart started to speed up. I scripted that Harry was gonna shake me and wake me up, when I fully shifted the first time.

I feel a nudge and a hand on my shoulder...

I opened my eyes automatically.

Harry said softly "Hey good morning sleepy head."

I looked at him with wide eyes. I was super excited, it felt like i was going to pass out. I finally shifted, I did it. Harry looks at me with concern. "You okay love?" I nodded, really fast, trying not to blush like a complete idiot. He just giggled and got up. "Do you want anything from the trolly? My treat, you seem completely off." Harry said. "No thank you" he got up and left and I was just looking around super mesmerized. Hermione noticed and raised her eyebrow at me. "Joselle dear, you look like you've never been on the Hogwarts express before. Are you sure you're okay? We can bring you to Madam Pomfrey when we get to school." She spoke up to me. Little did she know, i haven't seen the Hogwarts express before.

I said "no Mione it's okay, I just forget how nice it is to be back with you guys." She shrugged "okay then."

Ron then snored really loudly. Hermione giggled her head off. I raised my eyebrow at her and she started blushing. "Don't you dare say what you were thinking of." Hermione said. "What do you mea-" I started to talk but Harry walked in.

He sat down next to me and handed me a chocolate frog and a pumpkin pastie. In my head all i heard was "tWo pUmpKiN pAstIes pLeaSe" I rolled my eyes mentally. I shook my head and said "Harry, you didn't have to. Thank you so much." He took a bite of a licorice wand and threw a pack of Bertie Botts every flavor beans to Ron and he woke up."Ow mate, but thanks, food." Harry said "No problem, don't worry about it." to me and Ron. Then he said to me "It's the least I can do from your amazing birthday gift, you sent. Thank you again it's lovely." he then kissed my forehead. HARRY POTTER KISSED MY FOREHEAD. THIS ISN'T A DRILL. Everything felt so weird and real. I blushed so nervously and put a piece of hair behind my ear. *pulls Debby Ryan* HAHHAH PLS I HAD TO HHDJIUDHDCIU

Hermione noticed the awkwardness. She asked Harry "What did Joselle get you harry? I wanna see." I also don't even know what got Harry, so i was very curious. Harry pulled up the sleeve of his sweater and there was a chain bracelet with a lightning bolt in the center that laid flat on his wrist. Hermione gasped "That's beautiful Joselle, it looks like your scar Harry." I giggled, it was a very nice gift if i say so myself. Harry was just looking at me smiling.

We all just continued to talk and eat. It was so unreal, I even saw Ron share food with Hermione, that's so sweet. Then me and Hermione went to change into our robes a bit later. We were almost home. I was completely in awe. I was there, with them, talking, laughing, creating incredible memories that would be so unforgettable. Finally, after months and months, I was with my people. Every failed attempt was worth it. Every second so far that I've been here was worth it and in my cr, it's probably been like 5 seconds. It's been hours here probably. All i thought about is when i have to shift back in a few months. This is gonna hurt.
