Story #2

I stared up at the large creature horrified. It was huge! It was easily hundreds of times bigger than me. It stood on its hind legs staring at me. 

The creature had yet to make another move after it destroyed my home. I had built my home myself and it took effort and it was gone with barely a swipe of the creatures large claw. I was frozen in fear. I would be next. The creature was going to squash me into the ground.

I waited for the creature to make its move. But it seemed frozen as well. I was frozen in fear but I wonder why the beast was frozen.

I realized this was my chance to escape and started to swiftly crawl away in hopes that it would ignore me.

A loud yowl made me look back towards the human who was now unfrozen and stomping towards me. I tried crawling after but because of the size difference it caught up to me in seconds. It raised its large leg and tried to squash me. I barely had anytime to think before it came crashing down on my leg. 

It had missed. For such a large creature it must not have great accuracy. Whatever it was I was grateful, but my leg was still smashed.

It seemed to stop and examine me for a minute as if seeing if I was dead. During that moment I farted as fast as I could towards a black hole.

I again heard the angered howl of the creature as it came after me once more. But this time I didn't stop. 

Luck was on my side as I made it into the hole just as the creature tried to stomp on me again. I stopped after I got far enough into the hole that the creature couldn't somehow grab me.

It was time for me to heal my wounds and begin the process of making a new home maybe one higher than even the creature so as to make sure it couldn't reach me.

Being a spider is hard when things like that are around, always trying to kill me, but I will survive.

Spiders scare me. All the eyes and the hairy legs. But they are pretty cool creatures and helpful when it comes to getting rid of mosquitoes and other insects like them.
