Too sweet. It was too sweet. To be more specific, you were too sweet. Always smiling for everyone, making sure that everyone's hope was alive in their souls. And at first, this bothered no one at all. In fact, you seemed more like the mascot of the Scouting Legion, always happy and always kind. You smiled and clapped when someone killed a Titan, and always made a headstone for those who had died. In your mind, no one was ever forgotten. You were just that kind of sweet.
It was that sweetness and sugar that made Mikasa fall for you. She loved seeing your (h/l) (h/c) hair flow in the wind, and the way your (e/c) eyes sparkled when something good happened. She loved that sparkle. No, she wanted that sparkle for herself. And of course, she would do anything to keep it. Even if that meant she had to watch all the male cadets create that sparkle, she would let it stay. Even if it bugged the hell out of her, she would let it stay. For your sake, she would do anything.
Today was no different than the rest, as Mikasa watched Armin show you something written in a book. Mikasa watched, waiting for the beloved sparkle, until she saw it. She sighed with content at the sight. Armin was Eren's best friend, so she would let it slide this time, but whenever someone like Jean made that sparkle in your eyes appear, she beat the crap out of them in training. Mikasa wouldn't even think twice about it, either. She wanted no one like Jean creating something so beautiful like that sparkle, and she was sure to keep it that way. Your beauty was created by people Mikasa could trust, like Armin, Eren or Sasha and people like that.
Your eyes fluttered across the pages, but Mikasa couldn't tell what the book title said. You could. The title of the book was called "The 'Dere' Types", a book that Armin had found while cleaning the library. You found it so intriguing as you read over what was called a "Kuudere", some one who originally acts cold and distant, but becomes friendly and affectionate when they open up to you. As you looked around the room, you figured Eren was kind of like a Kuudere. You turned the page to the next chapter, which started talking about "Tsunderes". They are people who have the typical 'harsh outside, soft inside' personality, basically people who act rude and mean, but are kind people when you break through their shell. You figured Levi Heichou was like that. Turning to the next chapter you found "Yan".. "Yane".. Huh?
"Armin," you called to the blonde boy in front of you, turning the book so he could see, "how do you pronounce this?"
Armin read over the word you were pointing to, and said, "Yandere."
"Yandere.." you repeated, the sparkle in your eye revealing itself again.
You read over what "Yanderes" are, startling you as you read. Yanderes sounded dangerous and violent, and very creepy. They apparently are very possessive people, who can kill when it comes to their affections. You looked around the room, trying to find a Yandere around. Ymir, maybe? She is very protective of Krista, but maybe not a Yandere. She's not insane like how the book describes Yanderes.
"Hey, [Name]?" Eren called from next to you. "Is that book interesting? You seem really into it."
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, it's a great book! It's very detailed, and very.. True, I guess you could say? I'm glad Armin found it, it's really neat! You wanna read it, Eren?" you asked the brunette.
"Nah, I think I'm good." Eren responded, turning away from you, but Mikasa still noticed the hint of sadness in your eyes.
Before you could get too sad over the rejection you got from Eren, Jean sat down to the right of you. Mikasa's eyes glared with anger, wondering what Horse-Face wanted. Mikasa watched with intent eyes, making sure nothing would happen. If Jean screwed up, it would be the last time he did so. Mikasa pretended not to care, but something in he mind made her furious.
