Ambers POV
I removed all the fragments from Carl and stitched him up it has been three days and I have not left this room . I know Charlie is safe she comes in every few hours but I'm done so I go out in the living room and tell lori and rick he will be fine and he is resting they hugged me so tight I nearly couldn't breathe but I would of done the same thing.
I went upstairs had a shower and got changed.
In my light blue denim short shorts and my blue flannel shirt I've had since I was 16
And my black and red cowboy boots. I let my hair hang down loose near my bum with golden ends like always and go outside. For the time in three days it feel nice to feel the sun on my skin. I walk down the steps of my porch and Sophia comes running upto me
" your my hero you saved me and you bought back my friend Carl thank you"
She handed me this necklace that had a cross on it " it will let everyone know you are a savour" she said with that she ran to Charlie. Charlie waved and blew me a kiss I caught it and put it in my pocket. I walked over to the fire place where carol was she looked at me. " I swear you are angel that has fallen from heaven because you have saved two little kids lives Jesus must miss you by his side"
I hug carol and thanked her I walked over to the barn where my horse was maggie is my cousin and I came here on weekends to get away for my 14 th birthday that gave me spirit my beautiful black stallion.
I heard footsteps behind me and instantly I knew it was darryl
" hey" that's all he said after yelling at me basically pushing me out the door eight years ago because I wanted to become a nurse all he says is hey.
" what do you want darryl "
I say while I tack up spirit
" I wanted to talk to you about Charlie"
" what about Charlie" God I hope he doesn't know he is her biological father no he can't.
" who's the dad!? Where is he?"
" he left well I left it's complicated I have to go" with that I grabbed my cowboy hat and mount spirit I ride to the back paddock to do some jumpin and ridin . I ride on spirit past everyone they look at me like I'm crazy for riding a big horse like he is scary or something.
" hey hershell "
" yes dear ! You would like to know if you can go for a ride in you paddock don't you "
" kind of I just want to ride to get away "
He nods his head I dismount my horse and place my hat on Charlie's head who was patting spirit.
" I need you to look after this for me alright"
She nods her head I mount spirit and ride. I ride like nothing can hurt me. My paddock didn't have a gate you had jump the fence which was. Pretty high but I could trust spirit.

RICKS POV
she got back on that huge horse and away like she was at peace when she came to a wall I thought for sure she was going to stop but she jumped over over the huge wall. Lori and everyone else clapped although I don't think she heard any of us.
DARRYL POV
I can't shKe this feeling that there is something Amber is to telling me about Charlie. When I look, into Charlie's eyes I see a younger version of me without the abuse and fear of her own parents. But she has my eyes but I don't know why Amber wouldn't tell me if she had anKid I would of gone to Atlanta with her and looked after it I would of cared for it.
It has been 2 hours and Amber is still riding but I can see she is trotting towards the stables this is my chance to corner and make her tell me.
AMBER POV
As I'm going towards the stables I can see darryl watching me I walk past Charlie and she passes up my hat as I'm still on spirit. I give her a smile and thank her for looking after it. I get to the barn and dismount spirit I'm walking towards his stall to hear boots behind me I know they are DARRYLS I just want hi to go away leave me alone.
"Hey you" he says as if his pissed at me what did I do this time
" what do you want"
" I want answers ! And I want them now"
" what are the questions ! You haven't asked any dipshit"

" why do you care"
" because when I look at her I see me and when I look at you I see guilt spi it out who is it"
"I don't have to tell you" I said while taking off spirits reigns and saddle.
" if it is me you better tell me before it is to late to get in her life"
I look at him with a confused look sure he didn't know I was pregnant but he screamed and shouted he didn't give me a chance to tell him the night I was going to his house to deliver the news.
" if it is me I want to be a part of her life whether she knows I'm her dad or not but I need to know Amber I need to know now"
" I wanted to tell you the night we had the argument. But you screamed so much I thought I better not I wrote letters you never responded but __ yes darryl you are Charlie's biological father"!!!!!!
