SIENNA pulled two pieces of bread from the sleeve and placed them down on her plate. As she did so she heard familiar steps coming from the hallway, "Hey Skye." Sienna smiled at her sister's frustrated groan.
"How do you always know when I'm coming to scare you?" Skye took a seat on one of the nearby stools.
"What can I say? It's a talent." Sienna shrugged her shoulders as she placed the two slices of bread in the toaster.
"It's creepy." Skye quipped back.
"Do you want a grilled cheese? I'm making them the old St. Agnes way, it might have been a crappy orphanage, but they had some killer grilled cheeses." Sienna laughed as she recalled memories of her and Skye fighting the other girls for the last two sandwiches.
"No, I'm good. Simmons made pancakes before." Skye grabbed a coaster and spun in on the counter. "What I would like to know, is where you went two nights ago."
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sienna bit back a smile as she thought of her 'non-date' with Trip.
"You're lying, I know because you have a tell." Skye stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Really? Please elaborate on this tell." Sienna crossed her arms across her chest and looked at her sister with challenging eyes.
The two sisters competitively stared at each other, neither one of them wanting to break the aggressive eye contact.
"What are you guys doing? And why does it smell like something's burning?" A female's high-pitched British voice, broke the tense silence.
"Skye was just about to inform me of the 100% real tell I have." Sienna broke the eye contact and pulled the burning toast out of the toaster.
"She doesn't have a tell Skye, at least I nor Fitz have detected one. It's quite fascinating really, only 5% of the population can lie and not have some sort of tell." Simmons folded her hands.
"Thanks for the back-up Simmons." Sienna placed two slices of cheese in between the pieces of toast and placed the sandwich in the microwave.
"Okay fine, you win. But Simmons can back me up when I say that you totally went somewhere two nights ago. Right, Simmons?" Skye tilted her head to the side.
"Oh yeah, you left the plane around 6:30, but only came back around 11:00. Where did you go?" Simmons took a piece of bread and took a bite.
"Nowhere special." Sienna took the plate out of the microwave.
"Okay now you're really lying." Skye smiled. "Did you go on a date?"
"What? No, that's ridiculous, Coulson would never let me leave the plane for a date."
"Oh my God, you went on a date! Sienna, my sister, went on a date! We have got to mark this historic event down in the calendar." Skye devolved into a fit of laughter.
"You went on a date with Agent Triplet, didn't you? I knew something sparked last time he was here!" Simmons smiled cheekily at the news.
"I hate both of you." Sienna started walking back to the comms room where they were supposed to be monitoring all the agents in the field.
All the field agents, with an exception of Sienna, were on a mission to track down potential Clairvoyants. There were three teams in the field, two agents on each. Ward with Trip, Blake with May, and Coulson with Garrett.
"So, how was the date? Where did you guys go? Is he nice? Is he a good kisser?" Skye followed behind Sienna as Simmons jogged to catch up.
"Good. A little restaurant on the edge of town. Yes, he's very nice. He is indeed." Sienna smiled, she pushed open the door to the comms room and pulled up a chair.
