Getting to Hogwarts

You were getting on the train to go back to Hogwarts from summer break. You were sitting alone in your compartment feeling lonely. You were looking at the ground until you hear the door slowly open. You didn't notice George at first. He comes in and sits next to you. "Miss me?" He says quietly trying not to disturb you. "OH MY GOSH GEORGE ITS BEEN FOREVER!" You hug him tightly. He stays with you for the rest of the ride and you guys catch up like you were never apart. After a little while, he slowly puts his arm around your shoulder. You look up at him and smile. You slowly drift asleep in his arms.

"Ava, Ava, we are here." George says, shaking you awake. "Huh, oh we are here" You say, still half asleep. "That's what I just said, dummy." He says jokingly. You playfully slap his arm and reach for your luggage. You and George walk to the carriages together. When you finally get to the Great Hall, you both watch the first years get sorted and go up to the Gryffindor Common Room.

You were in your dorm reading an Herbology book when George walks in. "Come with me." He says walking over and gently grabs your wrist. You gently place your book down on your bed and follow him to the common room. He sits down on the sofa and pats beside him. "Come sit and watch the fire with me." He says. You sit down beside him and lean your head on his shoulder. You guys catch up and share old memories. You fall asleep on his shoulder, listening to the fire crackle. George looks at you and realizes that you are asleep. "If only she realized how much I love her." He picks you up and carries you up to your dorm. You wake up in the morning a bit confused, but realized that George took you back to your dorm. You smile slightly to yourself. You get dressed and go to the Great Hall for breakfast. George spots you and waves. You run up to him and hug him. You make sure to sit next to him at the Gryffindor table to eat.

You stay around George all day. In potions class, George passes you a note that says "Meet me in the Courtyard right after classes tonight. I have something important to tell you." You get butterflies in your stomach and write back "I'll be there." You daydream through the rest of your classes imagining what he was going to tell you. After the last class of the day, you see him nervously walk to the courtyard. You rush to the bathroom to make sure you look ok and quickly rush out to find him sitting on the bench you guys always sat at. When you get closer, he is fidgeting with his fingers. You sit down beside him and startle him a bit. "Oh uhh hi Ava." He says nervously. "What did you need to tell me. He turns to face you and grabs both of your hands. "Ava y/m/n Diggory, I have liked you from the second I saw you." He says, maintaining eye contact the whole time. "I-i like you t-too." You say back. "Will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes, of course I will." You say back. You both stand up and hug each other. You guys hold hands and walk around the courtyard for a while. He walks you back to your dorm at around 7. You could hardly sleep because you were so happy.

The next day was Saturday and you quickly get ready and rush to his dorm. You knock and he opens it, all ready for the day. "Come with me darling." He grabs your hand and walks with you to Hogsmeade. You guys get butterbeers and go shopping for the day. When you get back to the castle, he walks you to your dorm, but keeps ahold of your hand. He turns you to face him and gently places a kiss on your lips. " I am SO sorry, I should have asked you before I did that." He says with a worried look in his eyes. "George, your fine. I don't mind." You say, and George looks relieved that you were ok with it. "Goodnight" You tell him and reach for the door handle when he asked, "Do you want to sleep in my dorm with me?" "Uh sure" You respond with. You guys go back to his dorm and cuddle each other until you both fall asleep.
