Being part of the Hargreeves family means monthly family dinners. Once a month, all six of us head back home and try to enjoy a lovely dinner, prepared by our adoring mother. Although, nearly all the dinners so far have ended in chaos and ended far too early to be considered polite.
This year should be different though, Luther is coming home for the first time in four years and we're all so excited to see him, me in particular. He should be able to keep the peace for a little longer than usual... hopefully.

Climbing out of the taxi, I looked up at the looming building in front of me, my childhood home churning awful feelings in my stomach. I knocked on the door and waited. It was getting close to Christmas and the weather was taking a turn for the worst, heavy snow-fall scheduled for later in the week. At least I'll be at my apartment for that, snow is the worst.
The door in front of me opened slowly, Pogo's furry face peeking out from behind the door.
"Hello, miss (y/n). So lovely to see you again." The chimp smiled, pulling the door open wider for me to step through. He closed the door behind me as I took my hat off, offering his hand to take my coat.
"I've missed you, Pogo. I swear you're the only sane one in this family - next to me, haha," I laugh softly, handing my coat and hat over for him to take, watching him put them away in the cupboard. "So, am I the first one here?"
"Actually no, you're the third. Masters Five and Diego arrived shortly before you. They're in the living room," He smiled and gestured down the hall. "I'll be waiting here for the other's arrivals."
I nodded, giving Pogo a short hug before making my way to the living room, already able to hear my brothers talking.
"I'm just saying, you can be an idiot sometimes," Five scoffed as I rounded the corner, leaning against the doorframe. "You don't take science into the equation at all."
"Okay, first of all, that's rude," Diego huffed in response, pointing his finger at our youngest-looking brother. "Second of all, I do think about science, just... not all the time." He trailed off, losing steam for their petty argument.
I stepped into the room and laughed. "Arguing already, you two? Not all of us are here yet," I teasingly jab at them, making my way to the sofa and sitting down next to Five, pushing his legs off to make room for me.
"We were not arguing," Diego pouted, crossing his arms with a huff, looking like a scolded child. "We were having a grown-up discussion." He stuck his tongue out at me, further aiding his childish image.
"No, I was telling our dear brother here that he's a dumbass," Five grumbled, slightly more annoyed at me moving his legs more than anything, flopping them into my lap. "He doesn't believe that I can go back in time far enough to stop the invention of the first iPod." My younger-looking brother scoffed. Five hated it when people didn't agree with him about the power of his abilities, it was a weak spot for him.
