Chapter one: The dare

Friday night, 8:39 PM
"Oh shoot I only have like 20 minutes to get dressed!" Gon said as he brushed his hair and quickly started to getready. He was going to a party he was invited to by his friend Retz and didn't wanna be late.
Gon brushes his teeth, puts some cologne on that literally smells like the whole forest, and looks in the mirror checking out his outfit for any flaws.
"I look pretty decent, I mean it's not a fancy party or anything so this is fine." Gon spoke looking at his outfit. He wore a black t-shirt ,white ripped jeans ,and some black converse. He planned on going to the party pretty casual.
Gon grabbed his keys to his car and headed to the kitchen. He left a little note on the table for aunt mito saying he went to a party and will be home pretty late. She was working and didn't get off till 9:15 PM so she wasn't home at the moment.
Gon walked out and stepped outside of the house smelling the fresh air and looked at the sunset that was more then halfway down. The weather was nice.
Gon hopped into his car and drove off to Retz's house where she was hosting the party.
If he was being honest he didn't really want to go, all people every do at party's is drink and hookup and Gon wasn't into that kind of stuff. He went to the party's anyway cause he didn't wanna risk his reputation since he was pretty popular in the school. Popularity was everything in Whale Island high school. If you were normal and fitted in you were praised, but on the other hand if you were different you were teased and made fun of. Gon hated that about the school but popularity made him feel special, even if it was all just fake. Everyone he knew was fake. He didn't care though, it was all he had even though it still made him felt really empty.
Gon finally pulled up to the house. There was a good amount of people there already. It was now 9:21 . Nobody was really drunk yet but he knew in an hour or two everyone would be absolutely wasted and party until 3am or so.
He walked up to the house and pushed the door to let himself in. He looked around and saw Retz and some other people he was friends with. Retz immediately spotted him and ran up to him in her white off the shoulder dress that was the length of half her thighs, she also wore some diamond earrings and white high heels and had her hair down and curled.
"Hey Gon!" She said making her way to his presence.
"Hey Retz." He replied.
"You look great, I love your outfit!" She yelled since the music was a bit loud.
She liked Gon obviously and he knew that. He didn't like her though and whenever she became flirty with him (like all the absolute time) he would depend on changing the subject. He didn't wanna reject her in the case of his popularity getting damaged since she was the most popular girl in school...but he really didn't wanna date her. She just wasn't his type. So he always avoided any flirty conversations so she wouldn't get the chance to confess or anything.
"Thank you Retz" he said trying to sound polite. "Where the water?"
"Oh it's in the back by the back door!"
"Okay" he said as he made his way to the back door. He got some water and drank it.
I just want to go home and sleep, it's so loud..I hate it.
Gon was lost in his thoughts humming to the song that was playing. He liked singing a lot. Like A LOT. He just never said anything. He all of a sudden felt someone bump into his shoulder causing him to stumble but not enough to fall. It seemed like it was an accident. He looked up and It was a boy with White Snowy hair and pale skin. He was pretty. Gon recognized him and remembered it's the kid who everyone said to stay away from that's in that school band group. The band group that everyone avoided cause they were "weird". He truthfully wanted to join but as always didn't want to risk his reputation so he just never did.
"Ow" Gon muttered looking at the boy.
The boy looked at him and then just walked away into the crowd as if nothing happened.
Um okay then.
Gon then heard someone shout his name from the house. It was Retz and she was with a group of people. Maybe around 10-12 people. He pushed through the crowd and made his way to the group of people the was with.
"Wanna play truth or dare with us?" She asked.
"Oh uh..okay sure why not" he said.
"Great! Everyone who's playing make their way to the gaming room!" She yelled.
The group walked into the gaming room. It was pretty big. There was a couple people in there but enough to where there was still space. He noticed the white hair boy with a small group of people. He looked away and focused his attention to the group.
"Okay so who wants to go first!?"
After a couple of rounds of truth or dare Gon kept picking truth cause he knew Retz would tell him to do something crazy or dumb. Of course Retz had noticed this.
"Ugh Gon it's ur turn. When are you gonna pick dare?!" She asked annoyingly.
"I don't know."
"You HAVE to pick dare this time and since you kept picking truth I'm gonna do a big dare now." She smirked.
He didn't like that smirk. He knew she was gonna make do something he did not want to absolutely do at all. He knew though he would have to agree so He didn't bother fighting it.
"Fine. I choose dare then."
"Okay.. lemme see." She looks around. "Oh! Okay I know. " she then lowers her voice so that only the group could hear her. "I dare you to join the Schools weird band group...."
Wait that's not actually bad.
"And gain their trust so they can tell you personal things about themselves. Pretend to be their friend and get their secrets and tell them to me, I need more dirt on them so I can ruin their reputations even more in this school. They are all absolutely weirdos after all and truthfully those dumb bastards deserve it. Especially that one kid with the white dumb hair, Killua. I heard his family abused him and I need to know if that's true so I can spread more accurate rumors about him. I hate his guts anyway and I know he hates mine. I want you to befriend him the most. I just want payback because last week that motherfucker decided to bump into me and when I confronted him he called me a bitch...and NOBODY calls me a bitch and gets away with it, he's always so rude. But anyways yea that's your dare." She smiled.
Ugh I should of known it was gonna be worse then expected. If I say no I know this bitch is gonna do something. I need to say yes, my reputation is on the line. I mean I DID wanna join the school band group and now this is my chance. I want to see what it's like.
"Gon?" Retz spoke interrupting Gon from his thoughts.
"Oh sorry, but um..okay then. I'll ask tomorrow." He said.
"Great! Thanks gon" she squealed.
Gon knew this school year was gonna be a long one. And this just added more to it.

This chapter was a little boring and kind of short I'm sorry! Ik it was boring but I just needed to add that since it's what makes up the whole story, you know? Anyways tho I promise the next chapters will be a little longer and more interesting. I think it should start to get more and more interesting in ch. 3 so yea :)!
