I suck at writing so this probably isn't gonna make sense-
Mk so what if Chrollo get an ability that allows him to brainwash people and the effects of the ability wear off when he dies, let's say he used this ability on all of the Phantom Troupe members when they refused to join him.
So instead of Kurapika killing Paku and Uvo he kills Chrollo, hence freeing the other spiders, the other spiders go off and find their families and/or become hunters and live the good lives they deserve. :)))
