Mari's POV( all of my pretty and all of my ugly too, ok I'll stop)

" See ya later Marinette" Adrien said,my heart is practically melting. He's been talking to me a lot more lately. Maybe there's a chance for me.

At home

" Girl, if you don't woman up, and tell Adrien how you feel, you'll die waiting for him" " I know Alya, but what do want me to do,walk up to him and say, I've been wanting to ask you out, since you gave me an umbrella, but I'm so awkward, I can't talk to you, without turning red."( like Amity Blight) " Oh look Adrien posted on his instagram, ohh, you might not want to see this." Alya said. " Why not?" " See for yourself" she said giving me her phone. It was a picture of him with Kagami. She's a nice girl, but I'm pretty sure that I had just felt my heart shatter. " I'm sorry, Mari, are you ok." " Um yeah, I'm fi-" Just then I started coughing violently. " Hey Marinette are you ok, OH MY GOD there's Blood, I'll go get a bucket." Alya ran out going to get a bucket, when she left I saw a flower, it was pink and blue. " Ok, I'm back with the bucket, wait is that a flower?" " Um I think so," " Do you have any idea of what this is." " No, can you please call my parents?" " Of course I will" She left to go make the phone call, and I was left wondering what was going on.

2 hours later

I finally stopped coughing up blood, but I was worried this could happen again. My parents were also afraid, and were wondering what could've caused this. I looked up what this could be

"Hanahaki"

What is this?

"Hanahaki, the disease caused by onesided love, flower's grow in the victim's lungs, and they start to cough up flowers, and even blood. The victim will die in 2 months, if they don't get surgery, or the person that they love says that they love them back. The surgery will make the person never be able to fell love again"

I started to cry, Adrien loves Ladybug and Kagami, not me. I don't know if we have money for the surgery,and even if we did, I wouldn't be able to feel love again.

I heard my trapdoor open," Marinette, Alya told us what happened, do you know what this is?" my mom said. I cried, showing her my phone. " Oh, this is serious," my dad said. Dad drove us and Alya to the hospital. When we got there, the doctor told us we has we had 2 weeks to decide.

Alya had told my friends on the way home, while I fell asleep. When I woke up I had a lot of texts telling me to get well soon.

The next day I felt even worse, the flowers had gotten even bigger, and I couldn't even get up. I was supposed to go on patrol with Chat but I couldn't bring myself to say "spots on"

Chat Noir's POV

M'lady is running late today, but I'm sure she's alright. She has to be, my good friend Marinette is already sick, I can't have another person I care about be not okay (Adrien your blond is showing).
A few minutes later I see her, but she looks so..., tired. She looked like she'd pass out any minute.
"M'lady, are you ok, you look kinda pale." "Yeah, I'm just feeling a little under the weather, but I promise I'm fine." she responds with a faint smile. "What ever you say, but if you feel too tired, you can just go home." I say with worry.

Ladybug's POV
I'm so lucky to have Chat as a partner, I can tell he genuinely cares about me. I kinda wish I loved him instead of Adrien. This would be a lot easier if that were the case. (If only you knew)
15 minutes later and nothing seems to be wrong. I'm so glad, maybe I can go home and rest. "Seems that there's nothing wrong, Ladybug. See you soon." Chat says happily, " Yeah, see you," I began to start coughing nonstop. " Ladybug, Are you ok, you should go home." He says concerned. "I will thanks." Just as I was about to leave with my yo-yo, I fall down coughing up flowers. I hear Chat Noir, and everything turned black.

Chat Noir's POV
"LADYBUG!" I scream as I ran over to her. "What the Hell is this?!" I say in confusion.  I need to take her to the hospital. As I'm about to take her, she detransforms. And I see Marinette.  Oh no. I have no time react, I immediately rush her to the nearest hospital. Her parents are called in right away. And they called in Alya.

2 hrs later
I sit there by her side the whole time. I had to change into Adrien 1 1/2 hours ago. Alya has been on the other side of the bed, on the brink of tears, but that's besides the point. I just found out that the love of my life , is someone I've been calling just a friend. I'm so stupid. (Yeah, we already knew that)
And now she's sick in a hospital bed. Turns out she has Hanahaki. I just wanna know how this happened.

Visiting hours are ending soon, maybe I can find out what happened after this.
As I'm about to exit the lobby, I hear Alya. Her voice is very faint, and I don't think she knows I'm listening. Very faintly I hear her say, "Curse you Adrien Agreste, you did this to my best friend.". I felt like as if my mind shattered into millions of pieces. As I get into the car, all I can think about is what Alya whispered. I did that? How didn't I notice, now that I think about it, it was really obvious. Guess I really am a dumb blonde.

At home
"Come on Adrien, you've been lying on your bed moping around ever since we got back." Plagg said, clearly annoyed. "I can't help it, this is my fault, if I wasn't so dense, Marinette wouldn't be in that hospital on death's door." " Well now you know, so tomorrow, get up, and go confess, that'll help her get better, you idiot!" he responds frantically. " You're right, I have to at least to try."

The next day
I'm headed towards the hospital, no one back home knows, so they'll probably be searching for me all over again. As I enter her room, I feel nervous. She's still asleep, peaceful but probably painful. I grab a chair and sit next to her. Couple hours pass, I check my phone a few times, friends come to visit, but I just stay there. I hope that she wakes up soon. As I'm sitting there, I gradually begin to fall asleep.

5 hrs later
Mari's POV
My eyes flutter open, and I stare at the ceiling. I look around and realize I'm in the hospital. I should be freaking out, but my body's to tired to move. I turn to my side, and see .. ADRIEN?!
A million thoughts cross my mind, the main one being why he could possibly be here. The last thing I remember was Chat Noir's face.
That's not important right now, Adrien frickin Agreste is laying head down own this very hospital bed, and his hand is around mine.

As I move my hand, he begins to wake up.
"Marinette, are you doing ok" he asks.
"Oh um yeah, I'm great, but um, shouldn't you be at home." I ask, there's no way his father would be okay with him seeing someone in the hospital.
"Don't worry about right now, you need to get some rest." He hugs me before getting up to leave.
That just made my day.

A week later
Adriens POV
I overheard Alya say that Marinette was discharged from the hospital 2 days ago. I also heard that she'll be back today. I want to tell her how I feel later on. She's probably overwhelmed so I don't wanna make that worse the moment she steps in here.
Just as I'm thinking that, Alya walks up from the stair case and goes to the front door.
She's back. Everyone in our class,(well most of our class), goes up to see how she's doing.

"Now now everyone, I'm sure Marinettes very tired, so we shouldn't be making stressed. But I'm glad to see her back in school." Ms Bustier says to us.
We all go upstairs, and our goes by normally.
The days over now. I think this would be the right time to tell her.
"Hey Mari, I need to tell you something, may I."
"Of course, uh is there something wrong ?" she asks concerned. "No no, I just feel like I needed to tell you that, I have feelings for you. And I was wondering if you felt the same." I said wondering how this would play out.
" Wait, you like me", she says pointing to herself . "Um yes," I said, it was very obvious how nervous I was. "Wow Adrien, I don't what else to say other than, yeah, I do have feelings for you." The way my heart felt so happy is indescribable. "Alright than, wanna go see a movie next week then?" I ask. "Sure, I can't wait until then." She responds happily.
I see my bodyguard pull up to the front of the school. " See you tomorrow", I say hugging her as I leave.
