Ray?

Wait, Ray?

Who is this?

How are you..

What was that? Did I just hear voices in my head? What's going on?

Yes, I'm talking with you telepathically right now. Calm down. It's Celestia. You're sending all of your thoughts to me and the other alicorns. You need to control yourself.

Sending.. telepathically? How..

Celestia, how is he doing this?

I don't know, Twilight. He needs to control himself.

"Ray, are you okay? Listen to me, are you okay?" a voice broke through my thoughts. It was Rainbow.

"Twilight, what's happening? Why are there voices in my head? What are you doing? Tell me. Tell me, Twilight."

"Ray, what are you talking about? Twilight, what's going on? Someone tell me something!" Rainbow Dash shouted. I ignored her, and turned my attention to the purple pony standing next to me.

"Twilight." I said, sternly. "What. Is. G-"

"Ray, shut up. I'm trying to concentrate."

Did she just..

Ray. Be quiet. Stop talking, stop thinking. You're using telepathics. Only alicorns can use that level of magic. You're not even a unicorn, and you're not getting tired or anything from it. What are you?

What am I?

"Twilight. Stop. What do you mean, what am I?", I asked her, aggravated.

"What.. are you?", Twilight said, stepping towards me. "Humans can't use magic."

"I don't know what you're talking about!", I shouted as I stepped heavily out of the hospital bed, standing over Twilight. There was a light pulling on my arms, and I found I was attached to some sort of monitoring system. I pulled out the cords, and stood at my full height, causing the ponies to step back in surprise and fear. "This isn't my world! How am I supposed to know what's happening?!"

Ray, calm down. Control yourself.

Celestia again.

"SHUT UP! SHUT THE HECK UP!"

I screamed in frustration, and ran, taking heavy strides out of the door out into the corridor of the hallway.

"Stop!", Twilight shouted. I could hear replying shouting from behind me as the other girls argued over each other. "Somepony STOP HIM!"

The pony gave chase. I looked around the corridor for a way out. Guard ponies were stationed outside of the room, and as the heard Twilight, started running towards me also. I took a sharp left, and ran at top speed down the corridor, glancing over my shoulder at ten ponies running after me. Rainbow shot into the air at speed, and as I realised there was no escape, I decided to get out a quicker way. Just before Dash was able to grab me, I strafed right out of a window, glass smashing to every side. I felt a sharp pain in my arms as shards embedded themselves in my flesh. It was at that point I noticed we were on the third floor. I turned in the air to look up at the window I had smashed, to see Twilight looking out at me, both with frustration and dawning on her face. She'd meant to stop me, but not have me injured.

My spine smashed against a branch of what I assumed was a tall tree. A crack. I had no idea whether it was the branch, or my back. A quick shout emerged from me as the pain hit. Leaves fell past me as I continued my descent to the ground.
