Chapter 2

Kaeyas pov

The next day Albedo came to school with short hair I stormed over to him grabbing him by the shirt he dropped his books Sucrose was with him she tried to pull me away but couldn't I glared at him and touched his hair with my other hand he thought I was gonna hit him so he flinched  "What the fuck did you do to your hair?" I asked kinda pissed off he looked upset yet confused "D-Didn't you say that I looked weird with long hair? I-I just cut it so I wouldn't look weird" I dropped him on the floor as I walked away 

A week after Zhongli came to our school Childe would be with him a lot picking on him so I walked down the hall looking around trying to find Childe since we had different classes this period when I seen him he was staring at his phone with a sadish face he noticed me and grabbed my arm dragging me to the roof "Have you heard the rumor going around?" He asked I shook my head confused "No? What rumors?" I asked as he showed me his phone I looked at it there was a picture of Sucrose and Albedo kissing at the park the picture was posted on a random account I just looked down "So they're dating?" I asked as I sat down against the fence "H-hey it's okay" He came and hugged me "Can you maybe leave me alone for a bit?" I ask he nods "Sure but come in soon its starting to rain" He left there were a few droplets of rain that fell it was a gross day already so I knew it would rain I just sat there on the roof in the rain I was crying but you couldn't tell unless I spoke I heard the door open "Go away Childe" I looked up to see Albedo standing under the door frame "A-ah sorry Kaeya" He then noticed I was crying "Why are you crying in the rain you're gonna get sick" He put his jacket cover his head as he walked over to me he covered us both "I just got rejected.. before I even told them how I felt about them" he sat with me he had put his jacket on top of my head and over his "How do you know you're rejected maybe they do like you" He looked at me I just kinda laughed in pain "They already found someone" I looked down at my lap I was freezing Albedo got up and held out his hand he was getting wet now I took it and put the jacket over his head he took my hand pulling me with him "Come with me I wanna show you something but you can't tell anyone this is our secret " He took me to a small shed hidden from the entrance of the roof he took me inside and sat me on the couch "Sorry for the mess" He shut and locked the door he turned on the light it was full of books and there was a couch that I was sitting on it was comfy he started to put the books back on the bookshelf he handed me a towel that he had "If you need help ask" He looked at me then away he sat on the floor I looked at him "H-hey I'm sorry for bullying you" I had the towel on my lap he walked over to me he grabbed the towel and started to dry my hair "It's okay as long as you stop Sucrose really doesn't like you" He continued to dry my hair I just dropped my head for a second making him stop " Hey don't move" I grabbed his waist I pulled him closer making him sit I put my head on his lap "Kaeya what are you two?" He asked as he continued 

Once he finished he grabbed a book and read I didn't let him move he played with my hair randomly I closed my eyes "Kaeya don't fall asleep" He sighed then started to hum I roll over hugging his waist he just let me I did end up falling asleep not long after 

Childes pov

I was stuck with Zhongli sitting behind me again I had given back his book since Kaeya made me I put my head on his desk again Zhongli just sighed "Stop this Childe I'm trying to do my work" Zhongli flicked my forehead I flicked his back "Rude" It was a free period so the teacher was at his desk doing nothing "Zhongli you'd make a prettier girl you're ugly as a guy" I stared at him he just nodded "People would like you more if you were a hot girl I know I would" I laughed a bit "Please stop and let me continue my work" 

After school I was called to the office as well as Zhongli I walked down the hall sighing Zhongli was there when I walked in the principle took us into her office me and Zhongli sat beside each other on the couch it was kinda small so we would touch every time we'd move I glared at him every time we would touch Jean started to explain that Zhongli would start tutoring me starting tonight and that she already talked to my mom Zhongli had agreed to do it since he was getting paid by my mom I shook my head " No I'm not letting him tutor me ever" 

I walked to the entrance of the school Zhongli was beside me he started to walk he didn't have a umbrella I groan and walk beside him with it over both of our heads but mostly over his my mom would kill me if she found out I let him get sick when we got to my house I opened the door we came inside Teucer came running to the door he smiled happily "Big brother! You're home!" I took off my shoes and picked him up "Yeah I am I brought someone with me" I smiled at Teucer "Ajax! Who did you bring back?!" My mom yelled from the kitchen Zhongli took off his shoes "Zhongli" I sighed she came from the kitchen over to us "Welcome Zhongli make yourself at home also Ajax go shower before you catch a cold" She smiled going back to the kitchen

After taking a shower and studying for a bit we went down for dinner "Zhongli honey you should stay the night it's to late for you to go home you can shower and borrow Ajaxs clothes I'll wash your uniform" My mom smiled as we all ate I didn't say anything
