{A Week Later}

~Malachi POV~

"y/n, Are You A Destroyer?" I Asked Abruptly.

"No, You Know That. My Father Was The Destroyer, I Just Have Abilities." y/n Said.

"Now, Don't Lie To Me. I've Read  Countless Stories And Myths Of Lady Irene, One In Particular Stands Out In My Mind Because Of You." I Said. "It's About A Woman, A Warrior, Who Helped The Divine Warriors. She's Described To Cloak Herself In Black And f/c, Wear A Gold Amulet With A Black Stone, And She's Know To Have Powers Over Shadows Along With Destroyer Abilities."

She Went Silent For A Minute.

"...I'm Not A Destroyer But The Divine Warriors Used To Call Me 'Young Destroyer'. Enki Was The One Who Gave It To Me As A Joke But It Stuck." She Said.

"They Used To Joke?" I Asked.

"Well, Most Of Them Did. It Was Uncommon For Esmund To Joke But Irene Never Did. Enki And Kul'zak Did The Most Joking Of All Of Them. Menphia Usually Got Them Started." She Said.

"Sounds Like You Were Close With Them." I Said. "Do You Miss Them?"

"A Little." She Said. "Either Way, I Still Have You."

I Smiled At Her And She Smiled Back. She Never Told Me Much About The Divine Warriors Before, I Also Never Asked Since We Always Had Fun And Didn't Want To Bug Her About It. I Remembered Another Part Of The Second Destroyer Myth.

"y/n, There's Another Part Of The Myth That's Odd, I'm Curious If It's True." I Said. "In The Myth It Says 'Her Powers Reflect The Darkness Of Her Soul', What Does That Mean?"

Her Smile Faded.

"...Similar To The Divine Warriors, Their Souls Were Light As My Father's Soul Was Dark Or Corrupt. My Soul, Like My Father's, Is Dark But, Unlike My Father, It's Not Corrupt. A Soul Can Be Corrupt Without Being Dark But A Dark Soul That Isn't Corrupt Shouldn't Be Possible." She Said.

"Your Soul Is Dark? What Does That Even Mean?" I Asked.

"It's A Bit Complicated. When A Soul Is Dark, The Light Has Been Drain Over Time Or Was Never There From Birth. The Light Is Power That Is Best Described As Purity Or In Most Cases It's When One Hasn't Seen How Cruel The World Is. Some Who's Souls Are Light Have Not Seen How Cruel The World Is But Still Have Either Hope Or Purity In Their Soul. It's Possible For Good People To Have A Dark Soul, It's Extremely Rare Though. When Someone Good Has A Dark Soul, They Usually Have A Pure Heart But That's Not Always True, Sometimes A Light Souled Person Can Keep A Dark Souled Person Good." y/n Said. "A Light Soul Can Become Dark, The Same Cannot Be Said About Dark Souls Becoming Light. Once A Soul Is Dark, There Isn't A Reverse."

"How Do You Know Whether Your Soul Is Dark or Light?" I Said.

"My Powers Are Linked To My Soul, Which Gives Me The Ability To See The Light Or Darkness Of A Person's Soul, Including My Own. It's Neither Magicks Nor Witchcraft." y/n Said.

"That's...Dark, No Pun Intended." I Said.

She Laughed And Gave Me A Sweet Smile.

"Hey, I Got You To Smile." I Said. "You Know, y/n, No Matter How Dark Your Soul May Be, You're Still A Great Person And Wonderful Friend."
