"Don't Leave Behind"

"Very Beginning"

Jungkook and his father was living together in the same roof since their one and only mother of the house passed away. It was hard for them to move on but they managed to do it by supporting each other.

One day, both guys are on the balcony taking their brunch. Jungkook placed their food that he made on the center table, and his waiting father smiled.

"Aigoo, thank you."

Jungkook only grinned and sat down and started eating. Minutes of silence, his father spoke.

"Gguk, what do you think if I date a woman?"

Jungkook looked at his father with an innocent look on his face. "Well, it seems fine for me. I mean, you're still young anyways." He grinned. "And I'm pretty sure mom doesn't want to see you sad."

Jungkook's father chuckled and sighed. "Ahh.. I've been thinking about that lately."

Jungkook laughed. "You scared that she might howl at you at night?"

"Yah! I'm not thinking of that!" His father defended as Jungkook cracked up almost falling off his ass from the chair.

"dad! I'm home!"

Jungkook yelled as he entered their house while removing his shoes.

The 21 year old man sees an unfamiliar pair of shoes that was placed neatly on the side. He thought that they had a visitor and it was confirmed that they had since he heard some chuckles echoing the living room. So he quickly put his shoes on the shoe rack and walked in to greet them.

As soon as Jungkook went inside and saw the visitor, he paused for a bit. This visitor is no ordinary one. Well, they usually get a lot of visits but this visitor caught Jungkook's attention.

"oh, jungkook my son! Just in time!" His father proudly said. "I want you to introduce the new love of my life!"

Jungkook blinked several times at his father's statement and he lately understood that he was already being introduced to somebody.

"Jungkook, this is taehyung. Taehyung, this is my son Jungkook."

"Well, hello there it's nice to meet you." Taehyung stands up and bows infront of jungkook.

Jungkook just paused at the moment then he bowed. He never seen a beautiful man  like taehyung before. The way how neat and well dressed  Taehyung is- it's driving him insane. Is it love at first sight? Wait, who was he anyway? Is he just a friend?

"It's nice to meet you." Jungkook stuttered a little then he nervously smiles at Taehyung.

"Ah, don't be nervous." Taehyung softly chuckled, and it made Jungkook's ears tickle.

"Incase that you're wondering son, Taehyung is my new partner in life." Jungkooks father interrupted, going to Taehyung's side and wraps his arm around his waist.

'partner in life?'

Oh. Taehyung was his father's new date.

Jungkook was happy that his father found a new love of his life. He will never be lonely anymore. But why is Jungkook feeling bad for himself? He wasn't so sure but he was confused.

Was he jealous?

"Oh. Well I'm glad that you found somebody dad." Jungkook smiles, but he felt bitter. 

Oh. He's bitter.

Taehyung chuckled. "How old are you?" He asked out of curiousity.

Jungkook puts his bag down on the side and looks at Taehyung. "I'm 21."
